#qotd: my friend recommended me Mumbo Jumbo once during season 5 or early season 6, however, I didn’t do much with the recommendation and just moved on with life normally without knowing hermitcraft really existed, until one moment, when a video of Mumbo Jumbo got recommended to me, I subscribed to him, after a while, I also started watching Grian, and later Stressmonster and Cub, and the rest is history (kinda, not really history though but I am a huge HC fan)

QOTD: I started watching grian and mumbo earlier this year and I watched my first hermitcraft episode only in June. It was from grian from the buildoff and I didn't understand a single thing. I decided I wanted to watch the whole series and I soon figured I needed to watch the other hermits. After that I slowly started following all of the hermits and I watched the whole series of Xisuma, Rendog, Iskall, Tango, Impulse, Zedaph and I'm currently watching Cubfan. I think you could be the next!

QOTD: I watched Mumbo before I knew what hermitcraft was. And I usually avoided multiplayer servers because most have mods. I hate mods (depending on what they are). And I noticed that Mumbo made a lot of videos entitled *hermitcraft* and so I clicked on one, realized I should watch from the beginning and when I finally caught up it was around episode 100 or 120 IDK. That's when I started watching hermitcraft and I realize hermitcraft is soooo cool!

I actually followed Grian into Hermitcraft. I watched his entire Evo series and in his last episode said he was quitting because he was invited to Hermitcraft. Curiosity pulled me through to the next series.

I think my Hermitcraft origin went like this: - Got pulled into the Minecraft Renaissance on KZfaq by discovering CaptainSparklez's channel - found Mumbo Jumbo just from the recommended videos - found Grian through Mumbo - watched Grian's Hermitcraft series up til the latest episode (I think it was easier to start his because it was a beginning for him too) - went back and watched Mumbo's S6 up til latest - started watching other hermits and now here we are :D

I kept seeing the Mumbo Jumbo guy showing up in my feed. I enjoyed watching his redstone videos every now and then, but I only figured I'd try his HermitCraft videos halfway through season 5. Mumbo is now one of my favorite KZfaqrs, and HermitCraft is among my favorite series.

I used to watch Grian to get ideas for building houses in minecraft (i suck at roofs and detail) KZfaq auto- played a hermitcraft episode after a build video ended and i was hooked. I started watching mumbo for redstone and honestly i just like his video style. I put these on for background noise while doing my house chores. I enjoy the interaction between the hermits and slowly start to check other ones out. That's how i ended up here. 😁 keep doing what you do.

I just started getting into minecraft survival then until I somehow got interested in watching hermitcraft 6 bcs I watch grian's build videos and now I watch a lot of hermits' videos ^^

I found Hermitcraft through a friend, I had no idea it existed before May or June of this year, my friend showed my one of Grians build videos, then one of his episodes of Hermitcraft and then I started watching through his Hermitcraft videos and it snowballed from there. Now I watch almost all the Hermits youtubes and try to catch the streams when I can.

Question of the day: I had just found Grian’s channel and I was going on a binge of all his videos. Then a thing popped up that said Hermitcraft. I thought it was some kind of mod and thought it was weird that a creative mode player who did vanilla mostly was going to do some kind of mod. The KZfaq gods deciced I needed to start seeing random Grian vids, stuff like how to make your houses look better, easy hidden doors, that sort of stuff. From there I found his Hermitcraft vids.

I just started getting into redstone, so I searched on KZfaq. Obviously, the first channel I found was MumboJumbo. I started watching the redstone videos only but curiosity got the best of me and started watching his Hermitcraft videos. I went back and binged his entire series in just a few days. #qotd: Started watching Grians video to get better at builing, never thought of using stairs ect for details. Kept watching his videoes because he was funny and chill. Last Fall he uploaded a video " I joined Hermitcraft. I thought - What is Hermitcraft? and over the next couple of months towards x-mas 2018 I was watching every episode from every hermit. You were on of the first hermits I started watching. Your voice and videoes are so chill and entertaining, you got a perfect storytelling/ entertainers voice. keep it up Jev.

QOTD - I originally found Hermitcraft a while back from watching mumbo jumbo play in earlier seasons however I only watched a few episodes before I stopped watching, I then came back about halfway through season 6 a few years later and since then I've started watching all of the hermits instead of just mumbo and grian.

My path to hermitcraft is a weird one involving KZfaq's odd video recommendations. It starts with BlueAnkylo's Fire Emblem lp's. That led me to Shady Penguin's. He was doing a 30 days of hardcore series. Then KZfaq recommended some of Grian's old build swap videos.
