IK Foamer vs. Garden Pump Sprayer - Detailing Review and Comparison

What is the difference between a Pump Sprayer, and an IK Foamer? I use a 2L Pump Sprayer to detail these Acura TL Rims, but there are other options out there, let's discuss Detailing tips and advice.

Dayam, homie. That's nice and all, but do you plan to wash down all that APC with soap at all? Doesn't seem right having such strong solutions lingering about -- despite your final rinse..

I have found a final thorough rinse is enough to get rid of the APC. In the video I'm switching the nozzle pattern often to get various pressure and trying to soak every angle. Thanks for watching!

I made the mistake of using a bottle brush on a set of Mustang OEM wheels. Please buy a good quality wheel brush. Thank me later.

Yes, it always took some time to find a proper Soft Bottle brush, many of them are harsh and a newer detailer who doesn't have a 'baseline' reference may not realize it. Nowadays I use a Microfibre Woolie. Video coming in the future!

@@basslinefreshdetailing microfiber woolie brushes would have saved my very soft painted rims. Have a new vehicle and will be using woolie brushes only from now on. So, do you like those IK sprayers? I’ve been using a Chemical Guys hand pump sprayer to pre soak my vehicle. Even with a contact wash and garden hose with good car soap, Incan get decent results. I like using a large drying towel. Have a couple of different blowers but they kill my shoulder.

I mainly use Pump-Sprayers myself, if you need your Chemicals to "linger" on the surface, an IK Foamer works a little better, but they both get the job done! I'm currently waiting on my Pump Sprayers to die before I upgrade to an IK hahaha I have a small fan to dry the interior cloth, seats, etc, but on the Exterior of a Car I mainly use big drying Towels too. I haven't found a powerful and small blower that works with my Mobile Setup yet. I operate out of a Sedan, so space is key lol Sounds like your Mustang has an attentive owner!
