Cared little? They were fighting against entropy for the sake of all life... The celestials are the reason the MCU as a universe hasn't broken down to nothing yet. They claim to be a force for good and order, but they've already shown themselves to be deceivers, in the ways they lie to the Eternals about their pasts and their mission. When a movie, especially an American movie aimed at broad appeal, says "these guys are so bad, we'll support aborting them", they're probably not great. He really got pushed aside for the plot when they revealed everything about the Celestials and Ikaris. It was like: "The final fight is a clash of ideals between the Eternals." - "What about the Kro character?" - "Ah right there was something. Just give him 5 minutes of screentime in a dark cave to kill him off."

It was stupid plot wise. Why did you guys sleep through thanos? “ He wasn’t a big enough threat.” What the fuck is considered a threat for you guys to wake up and help?????

This is so true, these people are used to going awe at dumb action, eternals had a lot more soul than the avg MCU fan can consume, they are used to the silly one liners and being told their character is "sad" or "angry" but a dumb one liner, Ikaris had so much depth in his love and duty.

I see the positives and i enjoyed it only when i separated it for the MCU and just acted like it was a separate movie altogether. I think that's where the main hates comes from, doesn't add to the mcu and it actually doesn't make sense that it took place on the same earth. Also we had just gotten peak mcu movies and this one was not at that level, but like i said remove it and judge it separately and its enjoyable.

No clue why, one speedster moves fast enough to reverse time, another moves fast enough to dilate time by thousands on itself, and the third throws herself at her problems and delivers neither the requisite power or speed for any given situation. You gotta remember these guys only won by basically convincing Ikaris to kill himself.

Absolutely, heck i can say atleast the action was more satisfying than MOM's final battle, it was garbage, all that effects and powerup and its just 2 minutes of shit.

@@kendobc There's no edgy involved. The movie was terrible on so many levels. Pacing was boring. It was woke washed to the point of destroying any parts of the story that weren't suffering from bad direction. And yes even Jolie playing Thena was terrible. Those of us who aren't part of the woke cult don't care about the race, we care about accurate characterization. The contrivance of the story placing the eternal on earth was a hopeless useless bit of spectacle creep that only hurt the MCU, worse than many world changing aspects in phase 4. And there were so many bad ones, that's saying something. Finally these woke writers seem to have no clue how to write heroes, only narcissists. It's no surprise no one cares or looks up to them. I'm honestly not surprised the other guy fell asleep.

It was just boring at least for me. Couldn’t get invested in it and I tried twice but still have yet to finish the movie. As a stand-alone movie it could have done better but when you have the expectations of marvel movies pre endgame it’s subpar to say the least

MCU became too woke post endgame. The storytelling of this movie is horrible, they killed Salma hyek off too early and then did her scenes in flashback

It was bad in the way most of the DC movies were bad. By trying to make what could be two or three movies into one, you end up with too many "hero's" having to many CGI fights. Not enough practical effects. Not enough character development. At some point you don't care who lives or who dies as none of it even makes logical sense, and you get tired of seeing glowing/floating stuff all over the scree like you are playing a video game. And since it happens in the past we know nothing really bad is going to happen, and none of them are going to mater in the future, because they are not in the other movies. This was Marvel version of Justice League and it was just as bad.

The entire film has some of the best cinematography in marvel
