Do you think it is possible to shorten the mounting rail mith a saw, and attach the hanging brackets in the direction of the width of the furniture? How would you do it if you were to align the cabinet all the way to the end of the wall with no gap? Is it even possible? Do you recommend leaving a gap between the cabinet and the wall?
