Thank you for posting this, I was looking for a way to hang curtains without using tacky rods like I see in every home these days. These rails look modern and sleek. Great job putting it all up by yourself.

Great video! Just want to mention this: your ceiling seems to be an artex ceiling. Some older artex ceiling has asbestos in it, make sure you check for asbestos before drilling into it next time, or at least wet the area you are going to drill first and wear an N95 or + mask, also would need to clean up properly (wet wipe or H class hover).

Help! How much space do you have between every piece you hang the curtain on? Thank you for mentioning that the hooks shall face the wall! There is no information about that anywhere.

instead of cutting the corner piece, just leave enough space to fit the corner piece to the rails

Huh? You didn't show how to attach the curtains to the hooks. Do the curtains have to be made for the hooks or will the hooks work with any curtain?

Thanks for this, it's super helpful. Question... do I have to place two brackets (ceiling attachments) exactly where the corner piece joins the straights? Could I place two brackets near the ends of the straight before it joins the corner piece? I have a 45 degree bay window and was thinking of cutting a corner piece in half so the angle would be right for my window. Thanks!

I haven’t tried any other curtains, I would just stick to ikea curtains to be on the safe side.

I would recommend not to go to Home Depot and I believe it was the standard saw that they used. Just use the saw recommended in the description :)

Generally drywall can hold about 15lbs, you might also need drywall ceiling anchors for the screws :)

Interested in where that pronunciation comes from? I have lived in England, Ireland, Canada (almost coast to coast), California, and Washington State, and I have never heard it pronounced "KUR-Ends". Allowing for accents, generally I have heard quite close to how Amanda said it, or sometimes people are a little careless and slur the end to something like "KURT-enz".
