Thank you for this informative and easy-to-follow video. I wish I had seen this before my new bed was delivered 2 days and installed by IKEA crew. I would have saved installation costs. Also, the IKEA crew was not professional and constantly referred to the installation guide. Found they left one washer after they departed!

Very helpful. It took us about 2 hours. The hammer was not necessary. Regarding the bed: The bed is nice, but unfortunately the lattice frame creaks when you move on the matress (the bed is perfectly built, it's the material).

True life-saver. However none of the four legs would want to fit in the left side of the backside. I was lucky to have my old bed's legs and they worked (also from Ikea).

I got the king version 2 months ago, it took me ~2h to assemble it. The problem with this bed (the King version at least ) is it wobbles a lot. Don't know why they didn't add at least one center support. Also the slates were making noise with the central beam so I added some tape between the metal beam and slates. The noise issue is resolved. Now looking at some options to re-enforce it and make it steadier.

Hey everybody ! You don't want to be using a power screwdriver for this, as you will likely strip the wood screw hole into nothingness. That will ruin the whole bed frame. So go get yourself a socket wrench and a Phillips #2 attachment. And be very careful not to overtighten.

Just wanted to say thank you, this Bed is very well made but the instructions are absolute trash. your video made it very easy however, was able to put the whole thing together from scratch quicker than it would have taken me to decipher the first couple pages of the instruction book.

The bed frame is Full or Queen?

This Idanas bed frame is different to the one I bought from IKEA in the UK recently. :(

My mattress is 10". Will that be okay at the depth you assembled the bedframe at? Won't it just sit one inch higher?

Do you have to use an IKEA mattress with this? Or will a non-IKEA mattress fit? I noticed the IKEA queen mattress is slightly smaller than a 60”x80” standard non-IKEA queen mattress
