I am an all or nothing person when it comes to exercise and it sucks. But I have found that devices like the oura ring really help in that area. It looks at your sleep and recent activity and suggests days for you to take it easy, giving you a lower goal to hit for the day. So if you had a rough night, it really encourages you to have lighter activity that day , but if you had a great sleep it will encourage you to get at it. It’s nice because with my all or nothingness, I have something guiding my decisions as well as keeping me from pushing it when I really shouldn’t and not feeling bad about resting because hey, the ring said it was ok! Anyways that’s my influencing moment of the day 😄

I loved barbarian. BUT it was suggested to me to watch in my Airbnb which was 3 hours away from home. I was there due to my last clinical placement. So the colleagues thought it was funny to make me even more paranoid than I was. Because I couldn’t stop talking about how I thought there must be hidden cameras in the room and I literally felt like I was being watched. Didn’t help that it was dark when I went on shift and dark when I returned. Hellish prank to play on me 😂😂.

my fave vegan proteins are pea protein, faba bean protein, tofu, soy yoghurt, and PB powder - all of these can be added to sweet or savoury foods, so super versatile :)

I love Muscle Milk knockout chocolate flavor protein shake. It doesn't actually contain milk, it doesn't have to be refrigerated (although I prefer to drink them cold). (It contains something called "milk protein isolate," so I assume it's not considered vegan? I know nothing.) They sell it at both Walmart and Kroger. It has 32 grams of protein, so it keeps me full for a while.

A couple of years ago, two baby raccoons showed up outside of my apartment building. We were advised to leave some water out and leave them be (not the same as one being in your backyard, of course). My neighbor, however, thought I should call the police. To do what? Arrest them? It’s still unclear to me 😂😂😂
