the ikea detolf makes a perfect diy cage! (i don’t know exact measurements but i think it’s around 70 gallons)

Amazing video but I have a question my parents think that building a custom cage is a lot of work and money so unfortunately I can’t build one but I was hoping maybe you might have advice on hamster cages because I don’t really have that much space tips will really help me a lot have a good rest of your day!

I will definitely get some of these! Also question. My hamster always wakes up in the morning and doesn’t sleep because he is trying to get out! He is a Syrian he and the plastic bin is 477 sq inches!

I have a question I rlly want a hamster and I can do the stuff I just don’t think my parents will buy the big cages probably just the petco ones what should I do?

It depends on how old your are! If you are over 16, then that's fine, but if you are not and you are taking the hamster home to your parent's house, then no. You would need to have permission from your parents to keep a pet in the house! As long as the cages at Petco are large enough, then that would be fine! (minimum 100x50cm) I hope this helps! 🐹💕

I just want to say thank u so much u have helped me I am thinking about getting a hamster I have had 2 but both unfortunately passed away. I put them in a rosewood cage but I'm going to get a bin box and do some diy on it by putting some wired mesh at the top. U have rlly helped me hopefully if I get a hamster it will have the best life it could imagine. Where should I get my hamster from tho? It would help a lot if anyone could tell me this x

Also I don't have a local rescue anymore it has shut down we used to get all r pets from the local rescue so what should I do

Uhh i just wanted to say bc ik you use 11 inch solid hampster wheels they can still be bad for the hampsters spine

@@pancakespets if their spine is not flat while they are using it it can decrease bone health and Yknow hampsters don’t have the strongest bones. It’s amazing for them under supervision tho

It doesn't bend his back, as 11 inch wheels are large enough for most Syrian hamsters! :)
