and i recomend you also when you wash add hidrogen peroxide volume 40,just a little you add you will see after is much more white and not any dammage for the fabric...you will see...this peroxide is the one they use to put white the hair...they use for hair discoloration...you can buy in amazon peroxide 40...

and also when you want to clean but not with the machine,just make a fast cleaning,you can put water in a spray bottle and put some peroxide with the water,put over a little and brush a little and after with a microfiber clean remove...so you dont have to wash on the machine many many times,and that is for more long time of the fabric...but remember that when you mixt peroxide with water you have to spend on the moment,you can not keep on the bottle,because peroxide has oxigen and can broken the bottle if is closse inside the bottle long time...i can not explane you better in english...you mixt the peroxide with the water slowly and after put on the spray bottle,and you make just the quantity necesary to use just in one time...i hope you can understand me...hahaha this peroxide 40 coming like a cream but is easy to mixt with the water...

The chase isn’t actually attached. The couch comes with this bracket for attaching them. It is a small C clap type thing if you wanted extra strength you could probably use an actual C clap. We find that the one provided slips time to time.

I cant say with certainty but I do think some other leg designs could really make this couch look really cool and possibly add some extra degree of functionality. Not that it is not super comfy but more like it is not super plush couch that you sink into. We still love it after having it for over a year and a half. Thank you for watching.

Not at all, the cat hair would come off pretty easy, but we just put down a soft blanket in the cats favorite spot and that made cleaning up after the cat easier.

Funny you should ask. In one day exactly it will be 1 year since we posted that review. We have had this sofa over two years now. For us it has held up great! We have no complaints at all. We have had many parties, movie nights etc and the couch is almost like new. Even the stains and cat claw marks were easy to remove or repair. I don’t know what other people are doing to their sofa but ours has been awesome.

Your cushions can slide??? Ours can’t move at all once they are attached ? Are you zipping yours in place?

@@KRTLyfe as zippers are parallel they do slide and the cushion goes outside the frame, it should be stacked. But now I see yours in the ikea website I see in general it overflows a bit.

@@lurelurche That is very interesting when ours are attached they fit very tight there is no room for our cushions to shift in any direction.

I would recommend it because we feel like this sofa is a good platform to build on and customize.

They come with a C Clamp of sorts to keep them together if you use them they cant move.

Definitely more of lounging sitting position most of the time. But we do eat sometimes when we sit on the couch as well and just use our coffee table.

Not exactly sure. We actually bought it from one of our friends.

After I wrote this comment, I got one for myself by the way. Yes, this samsta fabric is harder to tear, but it has a smooth surface and it somehow attracted my cat. It is full of scratch marks now. Looks bad, but at least no holes or strings etc. I started spraying diluted vinegar time to time and it is better now. Also, my cat constantly tries to dig into the space between the cushions and it is not good. I believe I will have to renew the fabrics every year, so, not suggested for cat owners.

Our cat would pull the strings sometimes, but my wife has been able to fix it but gently pulling the strings back into the material.

We had ours for only 1,5 years and we haven't experienced these issues. Hopefully we won't in the future either. And as far as cleaning goes - yes, it is white sofa but we haven't had any issues keeping clean. We wash it every 3-4 months and as long as there no heavy stains it washes pretty easy. Any white sofa/couch would require some regular cleaning anyway. Thanks for watching.
