Fuel thing happened at loves east of Houston. Used app to get tractor fuel, reefer fuel and def, after fuelling the system dropped it. Told person at fuel desk, she didn't care. Asked company to check it, never showed up, still hasn't. Company got a gift of $500+ fuel free. I did my due diligence, would have been nice if i got the $500+ but i sleep well not having to look over my shoulder. 50 days till retirement, buying a camper and living in middle lane.

Several of us at a gas station in NC with our cars found the attendant gone and pumps on. We called 911, in case the attendant was inside and needed help. Police couldn’t find him/her. We asked what to do about paying for fuel (we had cash) and were told by the cop that we’d waited half an hour and called 911, so we obviously aren’t trying to steal. Just leave. We did, but we had all tried to pay. That’s being honest.

Sometimes you gotta park as outta the way as possible. But I ALWAYS set an alarm for 6am and walk my dog around to see what open parking is available and move before I become a Bonehead. If you know you're boxing in trucks and sleep in way late you're not just a Bonehead you're a bonesucker.

With the way that truck parking is disappearing faster than a lead footed lady from Pasadena, sometimes there's no choice. With all us truckers do for this country we sure get the short end of the stick, such as paid parking that costs more than a night at the hotel!!

I had that happen to me at a Love's in Colorado a couple months back, with the fuel. The system ended up charging the person in front of me, for my fuel. I got about 55 gallons, went to park, went inside and explained the situation I was in. After giving my info to them, the problem was rectified

@@SuperGoodison that's no surprise to me I saw a cannabis state or dispensary in a truck stop in Houston just off the beltway 8 just pass the hardy toll road exit so just imagine trucker don't have to looking for their weed anywhere you pull in that truck stop get your diesel and def and there's a Denny's and other restaurants in there and after you grab your food on your way out stop at the dispensary and get your baggy n you good to go you you ordering at the cannabis dispensary to get a 15 percent discount you use the secret code ONE 4 THE ROAD

I would go in pay for the fuel. I had this happen to me I pumped a 785.00 bill I walked in and paid my bill because the next truck might fill up and somehow the station is looking for you to pay a couple of grand. It could happen. I made sure to get a receipt and the clerk signed it. I have enough SINS to pay for and I don't need or want more .

I've pulled in nose 1st a few times just because the stop was so busy I didn't want to hold up the lot....but my trailer has never stuck out that far and I am a spread axle flat bed driver too. I guess his trailer is longer than 48" or something?

I always try to park in spots where I can't get blocked, and yet it still happens, 3rd world boneheads will park anywhere. Up around Chicago they are parking on the shoulder of the interstate if there is a wide spot.

During a blizzard in Waterloo, Iowa which is my hometown. Friend called me and told me to come to Kwik-Star convenience store for free gas. Power went out and opens were on auxillary. No camera. Filled my car, pickup and. Mama's car. I considered it a blessed. Found a wallet at the Petro on n Carlisle, Pa. 1,600 dollars of free money. Mailed wallet with credit cards to address on license.😂😂

Once I notice the pump not counting I would honestly stop fueling and report it to manager. Because thats the kind of person I am. Now would I payup if they try and force me to pay x amount for the fuel I put in? Probably would have them take the long route and would not hand over my credit card and pay on the spot.

Loves has cameras filming the pumps. You can see it on the screens at the fuel desk. You're not getting free fuel, they know who the carrier is and the truck number. Myself I would've stopped fueling right away and told the fuel desk employees.

As far as the free fuel giveaway at the pump… I know many owner-ops that will report it (especially if they’re a regular at the truck stop) and many that wouldn’t and may even tell their other drivers and delay the fueling to get a buddy to pull in behind before they figure it out! 🙈 Company drivers are another story as then the driver will not get his comps for fueling like shower tickets etc. and that driver is not paying for the fuel and major companies are not going to comp the driver for free fuel. Her comment is unnecessary in the case of a station where there are no spaces and the person arrives and it is full without a parking space, unless they are the owner of the space, otherwise they are subject to being locked out.

As a driver who does a lot of overnight trips I will change into comfy clothes and flip flops for the drive and when I stop at truck stops to fuel I always wonder if I will end up on bonehead truckers for that bs! Immature imo
