YG artists rarely lip sync (if they ever did). they sing with mr and when they don't sing, they make up for it by giving a performance since they have strong stage presence. the reason why fans compliment yg artists for not lipsyncing is because there are other artists who are known to lipsync even on their concerts and music show performances. yg artists are trained to sing live thats why you could almost see their veins popping out when they sing.

So sometimes someone wins and you say what? Because the older generation may not like rap or the younger generation may think the song is too old. In any case, its still awesome to watch because we get to meet the old idols who perform their original songs and the current Idols like IKON come and make it new and vibrant and in this case so swag. IKON didnt win this one but their performance is getting more hits on youtube!
