Imagine being B.I : He pretty much was forced to grow up at such a young age dude never got to live the kid life cause he was burdened by the responsibility of leading iKON since their trainee days. He's a born artist. His talent is natural and it's a rare gift. The best part about him is that he helped his members shape into the person that they are. He works on their talent and ensures each member improves on themselves. Can't wait for his album! My heart still hurts cause he left iKON and that void is still VERY APPARENT for iKON. Let's be real but I really pray that they're all still in touch with each other behind-the-scenes. Their bond can't be broken that easily. I hope they'll be able to greet each other onstage again someday.

I truly miss the duo of Bobby and B.I. They were one of my fav rap duos. And I love Bobby. He is one of my favourite rappers in entire K-Pop. He broke the stereotypes of idol rappers. Even though Bobby didn't came from underground rapping but he came all above them. He went on Show Me The Money (Biggest rap/hip-hop variety show in Korea) to compete against many famous underground rappers and beat all of them. Bobby is the youngest winner of Show Me the Money till date and was the only idol rapper who won that show and show the world that idols rappers are also as good as underground rappers. And now today he is one of the best rappers in K-pop and also much better than so called underground hip-hop rappers who criticize idols day to day.

I think the thing about B.I and iKON is that they never really let go of their child like innocence. Their early years together must have been so precious to them, that they don't wanna let go of the feeling and memories of that time. All of them talked about being matured but they always reminded themselves that its fine to act like a child sometimes.

B.I is very well known for a great lyricist & that's makes him the only kpop idol to win Songwriter of the Year in 2018 after the big success of Love Scenario as the Song of the Year in MMA award. His motto is 'Young Wild & Free' & that's what he keep on telling us since before. Recently he said in his letter he send through email to all his fans for the Children Day is " You know what we have to keep in mind? It's the innocent of childhood." Mind you that he is still young. Just reach 25 years old this year but i must tell you he had achieve so much at that young age & now he's starting back his career with all the freedom he had he can do much more cuz he is his own boss now. BI and Bobby really were the twin pillars of this group. Hearing the news that he was out of the group really broke my heart. This wasn't the first time that YG let the ball drop though. They usually (Kpop in general) kick out members or put them on indefinite hiatus instead of defending them. Park bom (2ne1) used medical marijuana to deal with chronic pains but the media got wind of it and she was used as verbal punching bag for months, whilst being put on hiatus. Drugs in general in south korea are a big no, and multiple idols have been kicked out because of drug accusations.

oof imma hit you with some more ikon lore then. from what you'll see in WIN and MIX AND MATCH, ikon was vvv much a hip-hop group. YG was a vvv hip-hop centered company after all. this is why when their pre-release single MY TYPE came out on september 15, 2015 -- all sweet and cute boyfriend material style -- A LOT of people were disappointed. they didn't even promote it. they got wins for it and it went kinda viral, sure, but the korean public didn't know or realize it was ikon's song. then RHYTHM TA (and AIRPLANE) dropped on october 1, 2015. THIS was supposed to be their official debut, but b.i changed it to september 15, 2015 to match their 100 days anniversary at their full album release.

as you proly know by now iKON is thd most hip hop rooted group in YG and their debut year they really went off with hard even their next COMEBACK was hiphop but KNETZ were not into that type of genre they're more into cute and pop-ish songs that's why BLINGBLING and BDAY weren't greatly hyped in Korea compare to how those tracks were loved internationally.. And only 3 members if iKON loves hiphop(Bobby, B.I and DK) (the rest preferred ballad, rock even RnB) that's why Hanbin composed more ballad songs to showcase their vocal lines and also he explained that as they get older in the industry their music should too, but seriously there's no bad songs from iKON....and their music is so diverse, I have not heard any song similar from them.. even the songs Hanbin composed and produced for other artists, he's incredible.... A musical genius indeed.. And maybe one day we'll finally get the DoubleB SUB-UNIT if time permits....

After WIN:Who is next ? and before iKON TV I advise you to watch Mix and Match, which is another survival that iKON had to do before debut and in which Chanwoo was chosen in the final line-up ! Maybe it will help you know more about iKON

In 2015, iKon was one of my Ultimate Favorites along with GOT7, BTS and BlockB. "My type" is their debut song, thats also what really got me to them. It just feels empty now without B.I, it is sucha shame.

B.I wants to keep the 'young, wild and free' vibe.

For the changes of iKON songs, iKON targeted as a heavy hip hop group from the start but it failed in 2017 after YG sent them to Japan for numerous tours without focusing on Korean market even they got a huge success as rookie group. They released blingbling but didn't do well in charts. Then B.I asked iKONICS what songs they like, plus he said that at least three of them don't know how to present heavy hiphop songs so he changed the direction of the group which the first song he decided to comeback was Love Scenario. However, B.I's solo and songs he made with his friends (one, yawah, raesung) were more hiphop style compared to iKON.We could have got Double B album in 2019 but shxt happened. If I am right, Bobby signed with YG for 10-year-producer contract in 2015 which means there is no chance for us to listen that Double B album before 2027 if you consider with enlistment of B.I

Double B were always the most popular parts of the group so that's why they got a single .... But it's actually a long story I'll try to make short why they changed musically for titles first it's not exactly true they weren't sentimental before but Bling Bling and Bday came out Korean fans wanted them to do more songs like My Type for example but those 2 songs are very lit kind of songs now most the time this wouldn't effect a comeback but they didn't stream the songs anyways like most fandoms do even if they dislike a comeback and this was a complete contrast of how international fan felt we liked the songs and didn't find them very different from what they had done before. It basically left some of the vocal line in iKon not even wanting to do a full hip hop song again. Anyways it wasn't a fun time but I still love both songs and feel that those iKonic don't deserve Love Scenario or Killing me especially not WYD you can't decide not support a Kpop group it can lead to disbandment iKON spent years in Japan after that but they didn't learn later MoBB situation was even worse as Innercircle was being ridiculous honestly WinKon stans have suffered a lot 💙❤✌

I have to say it's amazing how the music written by most of the YG artists makes us have to google the meaning of the word because they use lots of references which are hard to understand. like the songs G-Dragon - Bullshit and Divina Comedia, almost 80% of the lyrics in this song are full of metaphors that are difficult for ordinary people to understand
