Welcome back to my playthrough of the Carrier Aces campaign for IL-2 1946! Today we close out the USS Lexington campaign and the Carrier Aces campaign set with an F4F flight against Japanese bombers. The Japanese have found us and are trying to destroy the fleet, we must defend the fleet! We take out loads of Japanese bombers in this flight! We end the campaign with 14 air-to-air kills, 12 of them in this mission, the Bronze Star, and the Navy and Marine Corps Medal! This mission was a lot of fun to fly, quite possibly my favorite in the campaign set!
