Thank you for posting the greatest production of this opera available. Peter Mattei is the most brilliant Figaro and along with the rest of the cast makes this performance truly worth watching over and over again.

Thank you for your message, I completely agree with you that this representation is superb. I never get tired of watching it, and I think it is a good show to introduce someone who is an opera outsider into this art.

I saw this wonderful production several times on DVD and online during Corona time and couldn‘t get enough of it! It was so much fun!!!! All singers were so great in singing and acting including Joyce di Donato with her broken ankle acting in a wheelchair!!! and Juan Diego Florez!!! with his gorgeous voice!!!!- he didn‘t act, he was Count Alma Viva 💖🎶❤️💖💕🎶💖💕🎶💖💕🎶🎶❤️ 💖💖A timeless opera production!!!

This production is so Wonderful !!! I bought the DVD and hear and see it from time to time. All voices overwhelming 💕🎶💕🎶💕🎶great- But Juan Diego Florez is the absolute Star in singing and acting!!! But he don‘t act - he is !!! 🎶💕🎶💕🎶💕🇵🇪❤️💖🎶🇵🇪💕🇵🇪❤️🇵🇪🎶💖Comte Alma VivaI I love him in this role, his voice glorious!!!! 🇵🇪🎶💖🎶🤣💖🎶❤️💕❤️🥰❤️🇵🇪🎶🇵🇪❤️🎶🇵🇪❤️🥰🎶💖❤️And Joyce di Donato with her broken ankle manages the situation in her Wheelchair funny and with great mastery!!! 🇵🇪💕🎶🇵🇪💕🎶❤️🎶💖💕🎶💕💕This production is one of my funniest and one of my best!!!❤️💕🎶🇵🇪💕❤️🎶💖

Thank you! I'm intending to finish the whole Barber of Sevilla, after it I will upload other operas, at least I will recall Florez in The daughter of the regiment.

This recording was done at the MET opera any years before, wonderful🎶😍🎶 he is the best Almaviva of our time, JDF is unique 🎶❤️🎶

Agree completely, Flórez embraces the character and becomes him. Every time someone says that opera is boring, I show him/her this one.

I don‘t know exactly - I bought this production as DVD over Amazon - so great!!! Joyce di Donato acting nonetheless a broken ankle in a wheelchair !! Juan Diego Florez as ever at his best!!!! Glorious!!!!💖🎶❤️💕🎶💖❤️💕🎶💖🎶💖🎶💖🎶💖🎶💖🎶💖🎶💖🎶
