Come funziona una Turbina a Gas?
Primo, l’aria entra attraverso la sezione d’aspirazione.
Poi il compressore aumenta la pressione dell’aria prima dell’ingresso nella camera di combustione.
Qui l’aria compressa viene miscelata con il carburante e combusta creando un volume di gas caldi gas pronto ad espandersi.
Infine, il flusso di gas caldi in espansione fa ruotare la turbina generando energia meccanica.
Per che cosa sono usate le turbine a gas?
Le turbine generano gas caldi e fanno ruotare un alterntore per la cogenerazione di energia elettrica e termica.
Le turbine a gas possono essere connesse meccanicamente a pompe per il trasporto liquidi
E infine possono muovere direttamente compressori che forniscono gas naturale per alimentare case, edifici e industrie in tutto il mondo.
