Dovevo risolvere il problema. Erik Baffo sarebbe dovuto venire in moto con me, altrimenti come avrei potuto affrontare il mio viaggio a Capo Nord?
Il primo passo era quello di abituare Erik al nuovo mezzo. E così, un bel giorno, attrezzato col minimo indispensabile effettuai la prova. Dopo i primi 25 km Erik tremava. L'ho tranquillizzato. Arrivammo a 50km e già la situazione era migliorata. Alla fine, la dirata del nostro viaggio giornaliero in avanscoperta fu di ben 200 km passando da Rogliano, Grimaldi, Aiello Calabro, Falerna, pizzo Calabro e ritorno in notturna.
