The noise from the starting engine is terrible from the background !!

Dude change the sparks, the engine is making a bad combustion.

Survivalist Unless of course you’re talking about late wwii German quality production. The DB-601-5 series were amazing engines, but not all of them were pristine. Engines in that era were high performance, but also low reliability and high maintenance.

I think that it misses some dorsal fin, or a bigger vertical stabilizer and rudder for directional stability, but other than that, really interesting aircraft. Inevitably it makes me think of the Rufe... I feel tempted to try something similar with a Curtiss P-40...

The performance drop has to be very big... Combat seaplanes have not very much sense, We can see it in the Rufe, becomes a rock-ish Zero.

This would've been very useful to the Kriegsmarine. If they got the Graf Zeppelin finished who could've seen the potential of this aircraft might have won the war sooner.
