Thank you, I just got IL2, but before I used this video as reference for taking off an actual Hurricane! Who knew a game could be so informative?

The reason for the right pull is due to the torque of the engine. As the prop rotates clockwise.

Nicely done. No unnecessary complications to overwhelm newbies. You might have mentioned that you don't need to use flaps to take off and, having set flaps, you probably should have mentioned that you need to remember to raise them again soon after take-off. I suspect you forget yourself because you trimmed it all out then quietly raised the flaps without saying anything :-P

What I learned from this video is that you don't turn on the magnetos, something you forgot? But thanks for the boost cut out tip to shorten waitin for the engine to warmup. I still have to figure out why it is impossible to keep my plane straight even with frantically twisting the rudder pedals.

Faman2009 They automattically turn on in this. I would prefer to use the primer and magnetos of course.

Nice vid Bunny....~S~....I heard that full throttle early going through the 'stumbles' actually damages the engine for normal flight...Is that true?

Hey Roblex, I've a quick scramble tutorial almost ready to go which mentions the not needing flaps issue - this was primarily aimed at our typical 501 formation take off, our flight leader would have our guts for garters if we didn't use flaps, eh Osprey? ;)

Hi Matt, the motion blur was added in the video software, so I don't see that in-game. It's just to make it a bit nicer to look at on KZfaq :)

Ah - I did mention raising flaps, just after raising the undercarriage - I slipped it in nice and quick, as us Hurri pilots like to do :P

Do you have any video about steering configuration? :) It would be very helpful.! :)

Anyone knows how can I start on the ground - preferably with the engines off? I just got CoD Blitz installed, but it feels like a placeholder or alpha sometimes. The training is totally glitched, there's no proper manual/guide and there doesn't seem to be a clear way to frag and customise a flight. Thanks! :D

Is there no button in the cockpit that you can click on instead on pressing 'I'?

How do you set the glance effect to either side of the fuselage, which key did you use? Many thanks in advance.

Ben Quinn TrackIR. Use a head tracking device like this, or Freetrack or FacetracknoIR

I can't even go straight, it spins till I crash! How do I use mouse to move things? My mouse just highlights a white box ?
@FMMProductions9 жыл бұрын
funnelweb10 Just left click. Sometimes you may need to click and drag on some things such as your radiator lever but most items in your cockpit are simply left clickable.

Merlin management in this game is ridiculous I suspect others on the same level of "realism"))). Only good thing in the game is ballistics everything else is kinda...
