Its the dust, actually. If there was that much exhaust coming out of the 6 engines of that German Behemoth, the ozone would've probably been deleted.

Alot of the sounds are actually edited, because you could hardly hear them when recording, but I used the samples from both the sound pack that came with AAA, and with Fusioniser mod pack. Both those mod packs cease to exist, but I think similar things come with UP or HSFX

I should elaborate - I'm flying, and I switch to the gunner's seat as the plane passes. The AI keeps it stable and I switch back and forth once or twice to adjust it.

This is amayzing, thats when Murdock´s grandfather, got the "crazy" gene !! I specialy liked the detail of the wheel, just barely touching the ground, and the fact that you kept on shooting, even when the plane was disabled !

It's neither a small gun nor an armoured surface. I can assure you a hail of bullets is rarely conducive to the life of your engine or airframe in almost all cases.

Russians know how to make military simulators. Experience that is! ;) "IL 2 - attack aircraft" is a classic of flight simulators! By the way, PО 2 - was an excellent reconnaissance aircraft, as it was a great night bomber, it was terribly afraid of the Germans, it is quiet but deadly. It is on the PO-2 flew the famous night witches. Often, only one appearance of this aircraft caused panic in the infantry on the ground and thwarted the plans of the Nazis (postponed the offensive, stopped work, all looking for shelter, etc.).

not only that the PO 2 was very hard to shoot down because they flew at tree top level and can fly at extremely low speeds so low that if fighter planes tried to fly that slow they will stall and crash because having more wings create more lift and even if fighters do get to tree top level they will have to worry about the 12.7 mm tail gunner and will easily over shoot it was so difficult to shoot down and i even watched a video of the PO 2 for war thunder if you check out tommythethompsons video of him playing the PO 2 he explains that 2 PO 2,s bombed the suwan airbase in Korea and damaged 8 f 86 sabres and put 1 out of commission like completely destroyed it and there was another night time raid where they damaged i think 11 p 51 mustangs and actually destroyed 3 of them by just dropping 50 kg bombs at night which is insane and the PO 2 had a very successful service life i recommend watching his video the stuff he says about the plane on its bombing missions is just mind blowing.

Best part: The Po-2’s Vne (max tolerable airspeed) is *lower* than the stall speed of even a Bf-109. The Luftwaffe warned not to attempt attacking one, as too many Bf-109 pilots were trying to get on the tail of a Po-2 only to find themselves falling out of the sky. TL:DR - Comrade McCoy was flooring it here, and the German aircraft isn’t firing because it’s scared shitless of him.
