хорошая стрельба, хорошая посадка. А вот тактика подкачала. Висеть на хвосте у хенкеля неразумно, с хвоста заходить также глупо. По своему опыту могу сказать, что хенкеля завалить несложно, если хотеть.

I'm assuming that was a fuel leak, not a coolant leak, & how nice to have an airfield right below you when the plane runs out of fuel!

with such a loss of coolant the engine should overheat fast and pilot is forced to land immediately ! I dont know why they dont get more realism to that game after all these years of playing IL2 i see not so much improvement in gameplay except in graphics and sound.

+kubanskiloewe I think he was leaking fuel, not coolant, and there's a lot more improvements than graphics and sound such as the damage model.

You can clearly see that his engine failed after around 3 minutes of flying with the water radiator leaking.

***** yeah, i remember it very well, these 3min. from Oleg´s sim ....flying, turning and shooting anemies still on full throttle....bullshit ! EVERY pilot would have instantly move from any dogfight and looked out for a good place near friendly lines for a belly landing !

kubanskiloewe Since it's a simulator, you don't need to worry about dying... so, he could simply take the risk. Having water leak from your radiator does not INSTANTLY disable your engine, you can still use it on full throttle while it heats up and burns out.

***** i know and that sucks ;-) it should overheat faster and loose power faster . KI is even worse in that.
