@@draco2xx He is not german, he was born there but due to his parents being Georgian didn't get de nationality. Also he says has not that emotional link with the country as he left Germany when he was a kid and don't have so many memories. He always had considered himself Georgian cose his blood and Spanish because is the country that had given him the opportunity to grow. If not why would he promote an event in Spain and not in Germany?

Makhachev is a beast on his own right. But I do feel that Topuria's superior striking/boxing ability will give him a clear advantage in a potential fight.

Despite the Gaitjie knockout I don't see max beating Tuporia.Tuporia might've put the screws to Gaitjie too who leaves himself open a lot n doesn't wrestle much anymore.Anyway I love max but I got Tuporia who has great fight IQ, One punch ko power plus he's got very good wrestling and much improved Cardio.

Nope. 15-0 record. Only two wins with unanimous decisions including against Josh Emmet. He meant, he respected Emmet knocking power and did not risk to attack for immediate win. The rest 13 fights he won either with KO or submission.

He was born in Germany, lived a few years in Georgia and the most of his life is in Spain, his son is Spanish, his wife and his adress. He said that if there would be a war, he would go with Spain and he feels so spanish like georgian. Whole his preparation was done in Spain. Even if it is pain in your ass, he is more spanish than nothing else.

As of a week ago Ilia Topuria has a Spanish national identity card, and that means that he renounces his Georgian nationality because Georgia does not allow dual nationality with countries with which it has no treaty or agreement, so ILIA TOPURIA IS ALREADY 100% SPANISH. He learned BJJ in SPAIN, he trained as an MMA fighter in Spain, his coaches are Spanish.
