ILIFE A10 Review: Navigation, Cleaning Test, and App Features

Overall, the ILIFE A10 is a decent robot vacuum, especially considering the price. It performs well on carpets and hard floors and finishes the job faster than other robot vacuums. It also has some nice features such as the ability to adjust side brushes speed, two different roller brushes in the box, carpet areas (haven't seen this in other robots). Navigation is a bit rough (wide cleaning step and sometimes skip some tiny areas), but it's not a big issue and helps to clean faster.

WoW Natalie your Vacuum Videos just keep getting better and better 😂😂😂. Well when your channel balloons 🎈 and becomes huge don’t forget the small robot vacuum channels 🙄. Congratulations at almost 5K subscribers!!!! Ok now let’s talk business🥱, so from what I heard and read, the navigation isn’t as refined as other robot vacuums with Lidar navigation. Also do you think the increase Pa offers better cleaning performance than the competition 🤔. Thanks for you help, in choosing my next robot vacuum!!!!

Thanks Nate, your words means the world to me! I have watched your ILIFE V9e and think the A10 would be a step up. Yes, compared to the 360 or a Roborock, or even the Xiaomi Mop Pro, the ILIFE is not as smooth but for the price it's really good. As to cleaning performance, I would say it's on par with a Roborock S5 a Max. On hard floors it did better with sand but as to debris pickup it is nearly the same. And I also liked the rubber brushroll, does the job well. You test it too and tell us your thoughts on this one

Wow I've just discovered this channels, it helps me know better about robot vacuum capabilities! This one is a wonderful candidate for my own purchase. Considering I've got only got hard floors.

Can the a10S mop and vacuum at the same time like roborock etc? Or the dustbin is separate and different attachment from the mopping attachment? Cheers

I have the A10 which doesn't have a water tank in the box. All I know is that the water tank can be bought separately so you can switch between the two which means no vacuuming and mopping at the same time. Maybe there is a 2-in-1 water+dust tank on sale I am not aware of. In this case, the A10 can do both at the same time.

Thanks for the helpful review. I know they have released the iLife A10s for now but the app are the same. I saw on Google their app has a load of problems. May I know what was your experience on the app previously? Many said it can lose maps and not function properly. So I was thinking if the app has problem, it might lead to the vacuum problem too. Appreciate your feedback.

All I can say about this robot is that it is not perfect. So does the app. I don't remember experiencing issues with the map or anything and the vacuum seemed to work okay. Not perfect but it was just fine for the price.

Thanks! The ILIFE A10 doesn't have the mopping feature. There is a similar model, A10S which does have the mopping function.

From my experience it looks like a similar robot with the same firmware. I am not sure I will buy it to test but if manufacturer contacts me, I sure will do so

Is this robot vacuum use 2.4ghz wifi signal? If yes there will be a problem if your home wifi upgraded to 5ghz.

yes, only works with 2.4ghz. No chance to make it work with 5ghz

My daughter who has a small pet dog first bought a Roborock S5 max and having tried that in her carpeted flat and being dissatisfied with the carpet cleaning effect of Roborock bought a iLife A10 and tried that along with the Roborock and found that the iLife was able to deep clean the carpet much better than the Roborock. It even removed more hair and dust that the Roborock had left behind after use. She has decided to return the Roborock. So it looks like if you have carpeted floor and hairy pet than iLife is a better choice. In contrast to her we have mostly hard floor and no pets and we have two roborocks the S5 max and s6pure and both perform well on the hard floor. The few down side to the iLife 10 are battery capacity of only 2900 mah and louder noise due to higher suction.

Good point! Tbh I am on the rubber rollers side, I do believe it does a better job on carpets (or at least the vacuums I have tested did). Since I don't have carpets, my Roborocks do a great job picking up pets hair (and mine too) and overall the floors look good but since I haven't tested them daily on carpets, I can't say which robot would do a better job on a fully carpeted surface.
