Winder launcher if you’re playing with friends. String launcher if you’re playing alone

The friction of the ripcord causes a lot of resistance giving a "feel" of power, and since you can pull it all the way through without fear of damaging the launcher you can pull a lot harder. That resistance does cause your off-hand (your hand holding the launcher) to move, making launches difficult to control. You should practice pulling the ripcord straight to minimize wearing out the gears. The String launcher has minimal resistance so no matter how hard you pull, you can keep your off-hand more steady for more control. However, since you know that there is a limit on the string length you consciously and subconsciously limit your pull strength to avoid destroying the launcher. One way to counter is to practice pulling at max power at a limited distance, meaning pulling with max acceleration then suddenly stopping short of the string's max length. You can get speeds similar or even faster than that of the ripcord, but needs a LOT of getting used to.

Honestly, it would be such a power move to show up to a tournament with a proto launcher, especially if you used it with combos that benefit from soft launches lol

i just realized how cheap x beys are on amazon. damn what a steal. i was expectin them to be like at least 12 bucks for a starter. Phoenix wing is totally worth the string launcher

With Burst being largely unavailable in the UK besides a *couple* of products, I am excited for the UK launch on 15th (June)!! (Everything in wave 1 is available in multiple chains/stores) I plan to get the stadium pack (tusk mammoth and dran) as well as soar phoenix, and hopefully, a winder launcher to have one of each launcher :)

As someone who’s playing alone I definitely prefer string especially since I have a grip. I find the grip doesn’t feel great with the winder launcher and less controllable than just holding the winder launcher itself. String kinda needs the grip to avoid hitting yourself with the end of the string and better comfort. So honestly, for TT users String since you can get the grip, but if Hasbro only than winder since there’s no grip available

i like string when playing alone because it gives quick retract allowing me to launch 2 in quicker succession, i cant wait for LR switch launchers now that left is revealed but im scared it wont be a thing until the first dual spin is out. for me winder is better for power, string for control

I'm saying g this before I watch the vid. I think the best launcher is whichever one you are most comfortable with. I think that helps ease your mind, even by a bit, and you can focus more.

Winder and string launchers have two gears inside them, one is around twice the size of the other. When the teeth on the cord spin the big one, it spins the smaller gear 2x the amount of the initial spin making the launcher feel more powerful because it actually is

The proto launchers are really good for younger inexperienced bladers. I always introduce my nieces and nephews to beyblade with the lesser launchers first, ie the tiny keychain, proto, etc., then I give them the bigger launchers to use. Basically trying to use the lessons that the teams in show would use IRL.

I have two setups. A winder and a string launcher. Winder if I’m using a stamina or defense type. String if I’m using attack or balance types

For me I like ripcords for power launching but when I slowly mastered my White String Launcher it can actually draw out the same power as a ripcord

Idk if this has happened anywhere else, but my local game store that sells MtG, Yugioh, etc actually received a promotional poster for Beyblade X from Hasbro. I wonder if that means game stores will be able to host sanctioned events in the future or what it means that they were sent that other than general advertising.

Thank you ilunic for saying the string is weaker launch. It is easier to hold, but i myself feel, qith practice, he winder offers the same control and maneuverability especially with a grip. All it takes is matching your rip angle with the launcher angel to reduce friction. An as for launching as hard as possible; when you know how to angle a launch to set the bey down however you want then the velovicty won't matter. I can rip full strength an keep the bey at the center of the stadium for a few seconds. This lets it burn off a little spin so it doesn't self K.O.. the winder just takes a bit of practice to master and honestly that should make it the better la I mucher. Like you have the beys full range of potentional with one launcher, you don't have to pull as hard as possible everytime. The rules only state that you have to pull the rip corn fully out, it says nothing about how fast. The string launcher is a beginner's launcher.

Some of these guys be hitting the row machine a little too hard to get launch powers like 27,777. These guys are literally on Dark Nebula's Arrangement System or something

I hope they release something akin to the sword launcher. A rip cord launcher that has a longer body.

For me the ripcord is the classic way to play the OG way, how ive played since plastic Gen only just got my first string launcher definitely worried about breaking iy thats for sure

Use Proto Launcher for the Bucket Stadium it's safer

I think rng is involved with the launch power. I used the noozle3d long ripcord and it never got over 10k

Proto/starter launcher are the same gearing. Just comes with a shorter cord. If it gets a longer cord like the takara ripcords, it's the same power in a smaller form and that's worth noticing. It's still hard as hell to hold but it's the same inside aside for the "power tracker disk" assembly. Use whichever you prefer. Some like the starter. They travel well. But def deserve a mini grip

It's not just about "watching it go vroom"

Whenever i play Stamina/Defese Bey, i always use Winder. True that it's hard to position the bey, but somehow it's not a problem. But for Attack & Balance, i go with String to control the position since too many self K.O. when using Winder 🤣

when it comes to beyblade x the best is String launcher easiest to use and has more connection options.

It's a pity that Winder launcher doesn't have a function like a sword launcher

I've always felt like the X String launcher is less consistent for me. It feels like it just slips almost, and I don't feel as in control over the release time or power level.

ok retry the string tests and TRY TO BREAK THE STRING .... the weaker launch is usually because you are sub-consciously stopping before the end of the string to avoid damaging or breaking the string launcher so loose finger grip and let the string go as far as it can on launch

For me Winder Launcher is good but if you prefer string go for String Launchers for Beyblade X. Although when i do Beyblade battles I do Proto Launchers which are SHIT. They are literally shit because they break most of the time for me so String Launchers are better in my opinion. Proto launchers are terrible and you should never use them
