Illa: “From the beginning, Joseph came out and he would say to me, ‘Oh my brain is really working.’ He was working with his coach, and he was excited. He’s excited about doing things now that he wouldn't take on before. He has the courage, and he has the confidence, even if he doesn't do it right, he has to attempt it. That's huge. There was a time I sent him to the store, and he called me before he even got home. He called me and said, ‘Mom, you know I was at the store,’ and he asked me about this multiplication problem. He would always be afraid to do multiplication and division. He said, ‘Mom, is it like this? If divide 4 into 12 is the answer 3?’ And I said yes. He said, ‘You know, because I was in the store and I was able to do that, and I think that's because I've been doing BrainWare.’”
Joseph: “I would definitely say give it a chance because this is more, this is a very good investment and more importantly it's a very it's a very good return for your investment. Sometimes we look at things like this and we think that it's for kids, but you know we're all kids at heart and this is going to challenge you even if you think it doesn't. Even being a grown man, the challenge for me was knowing that we all have things to learn. And we're all not good at a lot of things and BrainWare really covers a lot of it. It covers the cognitive side and it covers the physical side. "
Illa: "I would say because of the way the BrainWare program is set up with the initial assessments with working with the coach, and the post-assessment, I would encourage parents to do it. All along the way there’s support and encouragement.”
