March is a quiet month for content, next PBE isn't til 29th. So with the extra time I'm doing interactions for Champions that released prior to when I started doing them. Illaoi has no new VO and no reworked voice, this is the current voice in game. I'm going to cover Kindred as well and once those two are done that will be all Interactions completed. 2015 was when Riot really started to put attention into VO Interactions and champions prior to Kindred while they do have interactions they are a lot shorter to the point it doesn't feel worth it to make dedicated videos for them. Going to start focusing on improving tools as I'm planning to start covering new PBE Content on a secondary channel as the tweets covering whats datamined have been doing well. They'll be relatively short videos and nearly daily, might eventually covert it to cover all news for LoL and will probably use it to mirror videos that Riot post.

Not that you ever have, but clickbait titles are so annoying when it comes to League Leaks/News. Such as some already making ones that say "REWORKED KASSASSIN MYSTERY VGU". It'll be nice to have a channel dedicated to true news/leaks without researching 8 different pages to find it out

Actually, Illaoi had those lines with Braun since a little after her release. But before ruined king, it’s always been sort of one sided, with Illaoi stating something along the lines of not breaking easily.

I can't understand her voiceline with viktor. He asks viktor to change or else she will do something. I thought viktor would fit with the nagakaboros ideology, he saves his live with technology and saves others from stagnation - fitting with motion as a form of progression I.e. the future is in steel and science.

@@amaterasu3325 Because Machines are stagnant, sure, he changes himself, but that stops the natural progression of life, it stops growth since he's essentially machine now. It's progress, but it's not motion. Basically Nagakaborous hates beings that try to escape the natural progression of life like undeads, so Viktor becoming a machine is something that her faith doesn't look kindly on.

I love seeing the intersection between the beliefs of Illaoi and that of the Ascended, the Shadow Isles champions, the Darkin, Freljordians, etc. and how she views them through the lens of her god.

Ive always loved Illaoi's voice lines. they did such a good job putting all of her personality and beliefs into them. Her ideals of "Motion" are hard to argue with. I also like how her whole thing about motion and "testing" people is practically a hint on how to fight her. If you stand still for too long around illaoi, you are gonna get hit by a bunch of tentacles. I mean she literally yells "Move!" when you q, telling you that you should get out of the way before you get dunked on. If you don't want to lose a ton of HP when she hits you with her e, you need to push her away from the soul or >move< out of the circle. If it procs on you, you need to keep moving to avoid the tentacles that spawn around you. I suppose you could say that about a lot of champs that have skill shots and such, which is a fair argument except it only proves her motto even more true.

I had no idea she had THIS MANY voice lines. It's insane how far league has fallen when it comes to interactions. You can tell Illaoi is from the period when league cared more and now we're lucky to get champions who have interactions over 4 minutes. It's crazy though how I've never heard Illaoi say any of this in game though. I hope that's fixed one day. Her voice lines are incredible.

The reason why we don't get that many voice lines nowadays from my understanding is because the game runs worse everytime new ones are added. The engine isn't setup in such a way to take on that much client side data. Basically, it is riots fault but not because they don't care about adding more voice lines.

There are plenty of recent champions who have a lot of voice lines. Not to mention Legendary skins. Volibear is 10 minutes, Coven Morgana 10 minutes, Samira is 8.5 minutes, etc.

Next PBE Cycle isn't til 29th March so got extra free time to go back and do interactions for champions that came out before I started. Theres no VO rework or update for Illaoi, just going back to fill in the backlog. Kindred is next and once Kindred is done I think I've filled out all the backlog for Interactions, Riot only really went hard on them starting in 2015, all champs prior to 2015 have very little so they'd be probably 2 minute videos at most. Probably going to start uploading to a second channel doing short videos of daily PBE coverage of new icons/emotes added and eventually start including balance change coverage into them, for this current PBE Cycle I increased the coverage on twitter and was pretty well received so going to look into a combo of doing it on Twitter and KZfaq.

Is it crazy that Nagakaboros is a god that I actually could believe in? It doesn’t promise paradise, nor any form praise. It wants you to live your life and strive with each waking moment. If you don’t wish for evil to occur, get stronger and wiser to do something about it. If you desire a woman or man, chase your heart and seek them out. If you fail, then get back up and fight that much harder. Keep going, keep swimming, until you can swim no more and the flow takes you. It’s really a beautiful religion to think about.

Ok, I see some confusion since ruined king had a "different voice" (Yes this upsets me too) so I'll explain Rolanda Watts did the voice of Illaoi when she first came out, this is the voice you hear in LoL And Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo Voices her in Ruined King WHY? This I don't know, Rolanda hasn't come out yet and mentioned it or tried to say something about it and nobody (to my knowledge) has given an explanation. Makes me sad since I love Rolanda's Voice for Illaoi and it's clear that She loves the Character too, also Rolanda really needed the Job since she's going trough a hard phase as a Voice Actress and Riot Just Didn't call her. They kept every single voice for Ruined King except for Rolanda's and as a fan of her work (And her as a person since she is a really sweet woman) makes me really sad
