I have been threatened twice by these individuals with a knife over the years. The first time, I reported it and received a serious warning from the police. However, the second time I was threatened, I did not report it to the police out of fear that they might arrest me instead. The second person who threatened me claimed he was allowed to carry a knife because it was part of his religion, but if I were to carry one, I would be arrested. 2 tear policing.

We should all say a prayer for this innocent and elderly man and his family. My son was murdered for no reason so I can relate to how they must pain and anguish they are going threw right now. My thoughts' are with them. Similar here Emigrated to Australia in 1990 - completely LEGALLY and at our own expense ( lots of fees and tests and conditions which cost a small fortune) made a life for ourselves, worked hard and prospered. Integrated and had many many Aussie friends… Lived there happily for 18 years but sadly had to return to UK in 2008 as our parents were elderly, frail and at “end of life” … Man we couldn’t believe the amount of change here !! AND the 16 years since, it’s like a foreign third world country now ! We went into Liverpool for an anniversary dinner the other night, walking through the very busy town centre it was noticeable - not only do you NOT hear “scouse” accents in Liverpool any more, you don’t even hear English being spoken around you !! It’s very sad England quite literally isn’t English anymore.
