Because of people like you, is why I don’t let anyone, other then a few select rider, on my land anymore.. I own a farm, an maintain my roads. There’s 3 or 4 corners in particular that the ATV/bike guys were constantly drifting.. throwing all of the rock out into the field and eventually digging Ruts... really pissed me off, but I kept my mouth shut, and fixed the road in a few certain spots several times a year.. because hey, their just being kid’s being kid’s after all. (I was once a kid’s too) and I’m no stranger too stupidity.. one day I came across 4 kids (young adults) with rakes & shovels in their hands, at first I thought they were holding guns (from a distance) soo I drove up, in total shock! What the hell is going on here. One of the kids walked over to my truck, and said, we have been drifting this corner all day and we just wanted to fix it back up to normal. I shook each of their hands and told them for now on, they are the only motorist aloud on my property, unless they invite or give someone permission. In other words, they are in charge. Fast forward, I started noticing POSTED SIGNS, and entry points too my farm were blocked. (ATV/bikes/ect. entree points) since then... I’ve only had to fix my roads ONCE!! And that’s just normal wear and tear. Y’all don’t think about this, when you’re shooting gravel 30ft off the road. *Buy a load of gravel. *pay a truck driver to haul & dump *lease out a blade, to have the ruts smoothed out *pay one of my employees to run the blade. The shit freaking adds up!! Since I put these kids in charge, no one has drove thru my freshly planted fields or in the fields at all for that matter... no one has ripped up my grass, or tore my roads up. And for that I am beyond thankful. If I see them out and about, I drive over and fill their bikes up from my bulk tank. And occasionally, fill their vehicles up. Also gave them permission to hunt. Be like the kids I described, not the assholes in this video that just don’t care.. Rant over... from a pretty cool 😎 (id like to think haha) Oregon farmer!
