It wouldn’t get you banned, but it can DNF your result.

The reason why they banned these algorithms is because of this rule: A competitor must not compete with a DNF result or an intentionally poor result. (Intentionally poor result means solving the cube in a very long time), (DNF result means taking a long time and the cube is not solved) (e.g not knowing how to solve the cube.)

I think the beginner method would take less moves than that cause you just have to do R U R' U R U'2 R' couple times and then fix the yellow corners

What i do is do an au perm ( or a fast u perm or whatever it is) and then ill move the side that is solved to the left and do it again 🤷‍♂️

You wouldn't get banned first time but the solve it self might get disqualified. If you actually forget the alg then it is better to solve with two u perms

I dont know if anyone use this but you can do m2 U and do it until done if u forgot how to do the normal one

what i normally do at this situation is Right Algorithm 1x Left Algorithm 1x Right Algorithm 5x Left algorithm 5x And then face the layer that is already solved and do it again Note: this can be repetitive 2x so just do it again (i am just a beginner and using a beginners method, i will learn CFOP someday❤) though i am not sure this is also banned because i dont really know the rules to rubiks cube competition since i only started cubing yesterday

Anyone have cubes get slow and sticky after a short while that cleaning and lubricating won't fix? Have only had 3 cubes so far and they've all done this. Have tried silicon oil, special cube oil, synthetic motor oil and even other things. None of them have ever damaged the plastic. It's still hard and smooth, but cleaning it and/or oiling it just won't make them fast/smooth like they were at the start (or even half that good).

Easier H perm: “M2, U’, M2, U2, M2, U’, M2”

Just to be clear, it isnt x2 that is done in the video its z2 but in this case it does no difference to the result.
