I preordered my copy the moment I got out of bed this morning. I'm a rose gold fan, so the cover is a bonus. I am most excited about the white paper (I never liked the cream pages of the other journaling Bibles) that is thicker and the unlined extra-wide margins. I do think the coil binding will allow me to use more pages in the Bible as well.

I can't wait to see what creations come from these bibles!!

I will be getting one and it will not be the most expensive Bible I have purchased since, as you mentioned, some of the leather covered Bibles are much more. This, to me, is sort of in between an interleaved Bible and a regular journaling Bible and I think it will be perfect.

Thank you so much for the review, Rebekah. I'm an ordained minister currently working as a chaplain in a care home for the elderly. Given the size and dimensions this seems like a great Bible to journal in, make illustrations and generally add things that will help those no longer able to read and study themselves to hopefully remember and relive memories from their walk with the Lord. Really inspiring! I also saw your note in one of the answers aimed at your international viewers, fingers crossed there's a way, but otherwise I guess I will just have to empty my pockets and fork out the extra $50.

Thank you for touching on the differences in translation. I use the NASB version due to my church recommending it and personally love it for studying. The first thing I thought after loving the idea of this journaling bible was if the CSB translation strays away from the more literal word. This review has sold me on it. And you’re right, I can study from my NASB bible or refer to it when I want. 💕🙂

I preferred the CSB when it was the HCSB. I liked it when they used Yahweh when His name was referenced (ie... His name is Yahweh vs His name is the Lord). When you showed the products that are coming, especially the pockets, it gave me the idea of making a pocket for a bookmark type magnifier so it would always be with the Bible. Hmmmm.....😊. Thanks for the review. I’m looking forward to the paper review. I know sometimes thicker isn’t always better.

Regarding translations: anyone who speaks more than one language will tell you that 1) no translation will be perfect, 2) any time you try to go word for word, a lot of the meaning will be lost, and 3) in translating (like interpreting for a lecture or doing a modern document) you must go for the meaning, because words or phrases in one language don’t exist in another language. For study it’s good to have more than one bible, perhaps one that is word for word and another that emphasizes the meaning. But most people, I am hearing, don’t journal in the same Bible that they study in. So the translation of the Illustrated Bible might not (or maybe shouldn’t be) a big issue for people. Personally I like studying from 3- KJV, NIV, and TPT.

I like what they have done with this Bible. It was created with Bible art journalers in mind. I do agree that one should have several Bibles. For study. For prayer. And for creating. My favorite version is KJV. It would not matter with this Bible because I would keep other versions on hand. I actually appreciate the size of this Bible. It was made for the creative spirit.

Thank you when I first saw this Bible I was like Nah not for me the font is too price is WAY out of my league. The more I see reviews of this Bible the more it has grown on me. I admit that the other reviewers gave their review but I just was,nt feeling it Plus you cannot get it in the UK yet the link that is given is for USA I just saw the dollar sign and the hundred bucks plus shipping I just clicked away well I am looking on the bright side buy the time its available in the UK I would have saved enough money to decide whether I want to invest in this Bible thank you for your hard work it is appreciated

Interested in purchasing but would like more info on the paper weight. In your next video can you discuss the paper weight and what paper it is similar too. Like is it similar to cardstock, copy paper, etc.

I have had my Illustrating Bilble for a little while now. I find no matter what you do, watercoloring looks terrible with gesso or without. I've have tried different watercolors in this Bible. I'm sad that I spent so much money on it, It's very heavy and hard to work with. If you just scrapbook I guess it's ok. I emailed Dayspring and asked them what I might be doing wrong and never heard back :(

Can you direct me to where we can see the new line of products coming out to go with this Bible?

I think the bible will be beautiful for legacy bibles....there is so much blank space that the recipient would have room to add their own journaling and artwork and then pass it on again.

It’s so beautiful 😍expensive but so beautiful. I live in the Netherlands we don’t have much journal bibles and ‘stuff’ like that, sadly. For me, Gehenna, I don’t believe in hell, al lot of translations made hell from Gehenna. my reading bible is a very different one than the translations we have today. I do have that inspire bible to journal in, very pretty

I would love it if the would bring out ESV or NASB but I don't minds CSV because I use multiple Bibles in my study anyway, but you can take a lot of notes in that bible. I always take notes in my Bible not in a separate note book, I just love looking back at my old Bibles and reading the notes and I can easily find them for later use.
