Wow. This was very, very, very helpful. I illustrate children's books and I happened to come across your video. I focus on the shape of the eyes, hair, etc.,which is very difficult, but drawing the face sketches with the lines is a great idea. I think that it will be faster. Thank you!

thanks so much for this. I was getting so frustrated trying to draw one particular character whom I had started out drawing in profile, but couldn't figure out what she would look like from the front and 3/4 position. This helped tremendously. And now my headache should go away.

I love animating, and drawing the head in different angles and ways Is crucial in animation. It was the biggest obstacle in my animation career and I have always found it difficu l t to draw the head in different angles. You, sir, have just solved my biggest problem. Thanks a ton!

THANK YOU!!!!!! I've watched different things, bought a few books (don't regret the purchases they are awesome) but that was my issue. I was going to drain an egg, clean it out and draw my character on that but i'm not a fan of drawing something 3d into 2d. I'm so glad I failed at that attempt and found this video.

Thanks for posting this, Shoo. I just want to add, that I would put up my positions using a light board, and flip over the paper in order to get the mirror images ... A little work on the hairlines and ... voila!

amazing tutorial, but i was woundering if you could do one for bodys.. im fine with heads. however when it comes to drawing bodys at angles arms and other body parts look like they are faceing the wrong way lol. would really appreciate it !.
