I've been watching several similar workshops and you are very thorough. For some reason, I have to take some other steps to end up with the same result. Thankfully, there are many ways to 'slice' text! Thanks for yours.

Hmmm, also, the gradient tool in 2022 doesn't offer that bar. I don't know how to customize the gradient like that :(

I cannot get this to work on text. When I create my own letters out of shapes, it worked perfectly. For some reason with typed text, it doesn't work. There must be a setting or something I'm missing. When I go to create the shape with ATL Click, it deletes the entire rectangle immediately. I know someone knows the quick fix for this! Help! Thanks in advance!

Didn't worked, for some reason when I select everything and then just try to remove the rectangle , then it removes the entire rectangle but not create a slice...it sucks

You have dragged the 1 minute tutorial to almost 7 ............ Simple use the line tool and pathfinder to cut the text and then apply the shadow its done
