Question remains, how concurrent is Sufism with deen e Islam. As clearly mentioned by Ghamidi sahab, the benchmarks set would define on the basis of observations but since those observed are haqiqi all abled human will have same understanding?

It is a misrepresentation of Iqbal’s position. In his reconstruction he was developing his argument by giving a common example of extraordinary human mental experience, so he says why not Wahi. In fact he was critical of Sufi experience, Prophethood begins where Sufism ends he said. It was by way of argument. In fact his argument of Wahi and its finality is still widely quoted. His position is that there is a discontinuity between Sufi experience and Wahi of Prophethood. In one of his letter he said he did not believe in Mahdism, Mujaddidism or Masihiat , all related to divine communication outside of finality of Prophethood in Islam I think there is a confusion here, Iqbal in his attempt to explain his point of view in a Sufi ridden society , he used those tropes and reference points . There is also confusion between continuity of Prophethood and completion and finality of faith which is Islam. Comparison of Islam and science is inescapable in areas of cosmology and human origins. Both have a point of view. Early on in a letter to Syed Suleman Nadvi, dated Nov 13, 1917 , Iqbal writes: اس میں ذرا بہھی شک نہیں کہ تصوّف کا وخود ہی سر زمیین ِ اسلام میں ایک اجنبی پودا ہے۔ He then quotes two variants of a Hadith, which he interprets that the fourth phase will be one of rahbaniyat. As late as Dec 1936, a year and four months before he died he was very ill, yet he thought it important to respond and be critical of the concept of fana of many South Asian and Itanian Sufis under the influence of philosophy of Vedant and Buddhism rendering Muslims useless. He considered this tafseer more detrimental than the fall of Baghdad . He then writes that all his writings are a rebellion against such Sufi tafseers.

Farahi school was invented by you people. It has no basis in quran and sunnah. It's should be kept in mind that dear Ghamdi shb calls qadyani Muslims (as they call themselves) and when it comes to Aulliah Allah he calls them totally as deviants. Sufi manhaj is nothing but Tazkiyaa and actually there was no division as all pious predecessors were Pious Sufis ie Auliah Allah.
