Notice how the newly wed dance
The scarf is drape on top of their arms to catch the money that friends and family give them
The meaning of Giving money to newly wed is to give them blessing
The money will then used by the couple to start their own family.
The groom will bite the money and then will recieved by the bride for safe keeping or to show that the wife is the keeper of the house.
The husband the one to earn the money and the wife is the one to budget whatever the husband will bring home.

Thank you for watching this video Just to enlighten everyone We ilocanos has a tradition of pinning money to their clothes or put in on the plate...this money is to help the newly wed start their family this is not to boast who is richer or not... Regarding the money on the lips we are confuse as well cause we never experience it before but we just go with the flow as we respected their culture... It is unhygenic yes but atleast nobody fell sick nor unhappy during this event.. I am informed that every igorot tribe has different traditions so pls stop comparing yours to theirs... A little respect is much appreciated...God bless us all

Pls a little respect to this lovely couple..i myself found it unhygenic but despite of that i am only focus on how happy they are on their special day... I can not believe that my very intention of sharing love by letting you see this intimate moment of this couple has gain insult and disrespect..but i wont take down thia video cause i have seen positve comment saying they have never seen this tradition before..i am glad i have showed you the not so common on a wedding😊

Hindi ganyan ang tradition wedding ng mga ilocano,cnasabit ung pera sa damit ou,pero ung cnusubo ung pera cguro yan ang choice nila para maiba din sa tingin nila,anyway its their choice sa parehong side kaya respect nalang po pra sa happy couples,Peace🤗

Yes its ilocano and 1 of the indigenous tribe Igorot in the philippines..this wedding of my sister is 1 great example of how diversity connect one another and its awesome

Can somebody just pls exercise respect..im happy you paid attention on this video..i am just showing you how God created miracle by having this couple their special day without ruckus but full of love and surrounded by happy people... The description is correct they are ilocano and igorot cant you just be happy that despite their cultural differences we are able to combine it and enjoy every minute of it...God bless you all

Saan kayang ilokano region ginanap ang kasalang ito? Meron din palang sinusubo ang pera. Ang alam ko lang yung sinasabit sa damit ng ikinasal pahabaan at paramihan ang both sides ng perang papel.

This is quite different from what I know of pinning paper bills to the clothes of the couple. I think they should refrain from sticking money on their lips since money are dirty. Congrats to the newly-wed!

Ilocano tradition is Parwad... isinasabit ng partidos ng groom sa bride yung bills, at vice versa... hindi isinusubo... this is unhygienic... opinion ko lang...

Ilocano prctice ito..di ito ginagawa sa igorot weddings..maliban kung ang nagpakasal ay ilocano at igorot,depende yan sa usapan..pure igorot couples never do this...
