Iloilo City used to be the Philippines’ Queen City until the 1950s. That Cebu gained this fame since is because then Mayor Rodolfo Ganzon asked too much grease money from San Miguel when it planned to open its first brewery outside Manila in Iloilo. SM instead brought this to Cebu which jumpstarted Cebu’s industrialization in the 1960s leaving Iloilo behind.

What's the deal with the hospital section, and not even showing photos of the hospital, instead a hundred and twenty year old photo of Molo Plaza area as it existed then from the bell tower of Sta Ana church?

there are lot of hospital here : 1. Healthway QualiMed Hospital Iloilo, 2. ST PAUL HOSPITAL, 3. THE MEDICAL CITY ILOILO, 4. ILOILO DOCTOR HOSPITAL, 5. Metro Iloilo Hospital and Medical Center, Inc., 6. Asia Pacific Medical Center - Iloilo, 7. Medicus Medical Center (Hospital) , 8.Amosup Seamen's Hospital, you can google search or check it on google maps for actual photos but the top 3 hospital are the best of the best in here
