I think it’s by design. Skills like expose in the tactician tree makes flash bangs more useful by totally removing armor on enemies stunned by a flashbang. And there’s a skill in the sharpshooter tree that does something similar. Your shots pierce armor better. Skills like that would be trivialized if guns were buffed more generally. I think the goal by making guns weak is to incentivize players to find a distinct play style that synergizes skills to turn the whole team, and not just an individual, into a killing machine. Because if 4 players can individually build themselves to be a one man army then it kind of misses the point of being a COOPERATIVE PvE.

As a Valorant player, headshot in this games are needed mostly like in fps needed to be headshot to be effective imo.

seeing what they did with payday 2 i think this game has alot of promise. They just need to get their shit together and we just need to wait for more content

Ive got 70 hours in as a solo player. Have 19/22 achievements and havent hada single server issue since monday. The game is amazing and i cant wait for more heists. It feels barebones because we are so used to payday 2 and all the heists there. Payday 2 didnt launch like that.

In my opinion, and I'm gonna gate hated for this, but offline isnt needed, sort of. When they fix the servers, and they are already somewhat there, because now we can actually play the game, all they have to do is add a solo option or when you select invite/friends only option, you get in an empty lobby, so you dont waste time. That would be it, want to solo, go for it, play with friend, go for it. The excuse of someone having a shitty internet connection... is just lazy in my opinion. I dont even care if they add offline mode or not honestly, its not the point for me, but the fact of people just refusing to play the game just because of this small feachure lack.
