If you've got layers you can spray your hair with water first and do a twist of the piece you're braiding inward toward the centre of the braid, brushing out any tangles as you go. That gets rid of a huge amount of flyaways.

@@YoRobloxGirl1234 straight hair has no volume, you need a lot of product for it to stay a certain way, and everything looks kinda the same Meanwhile, wavy and curly hair have more volume and stay styled longer, and because you have more hair you have more possibilities because you have more layers of hair to work with. The only straight hair that has a little bit more of shape is the dyed, dry straight hair, and even then there's not that much you can do You may see a hundred of videos like this one, but they all look pretty similar. What we do have less off, but I think we're getting more now, is videos of people with other types of hair. It's thanks to this whole "oh straight hair is perfect" thinking that a lot of women with wavy and curly hair end up straightening their hair and damaging it

Guys I know an easier way! Tie a normal pony tail, then pull the elastic band or scrunchie down a bit. Make a Hole right above the band, and put the hair order the band through it. Repeat this and your braids will coe out amaaazing!❤❤

I know there's better ways of doing it, but whenever I find one of my elastics or scrunchies somewhere randomly in my house, I place them on a doorknob or the knob of my wardrobe so that I can always find them if I need one. I know there are an infinite ways better to store them, but when tell myself "I'll place this here so I won't forget where I put it", and then I'll forget where I put it if it's not somewhere I look everyday like the door knobs.

I used to do my braids like the first way and it would look like the second one once i finished them. I don't know if it's work for everyone but you only have to tighten the hair up while doing the braids.

@@HannahandGuineaPigs well yes my hair is not that frizzy, but I DO GET TANGLES, ALOT, not kidding (I don’t know how I managed to do this hair style but i guess I was lucky) 😅😅but tbh I only did it like twice now I just do normal braids cuz their faster lol, but this style makes it rlly curly when u take them out which I like

My mom just does this with her hands- Once you understand how it works, its not that different from a normal braid. The positive side to this style over the regular one is that it makes your hair look more full.
