Happy to see you reacting to these :) I think your first assumptions of whats happening is good for the first episode, the next 2 should answer any questions you have right now, so I won't get into explaining too many things. If after ep 3 you have any questions, I'll definitely comment on those (as I know others will too 😎). I think all you need to know for now is that there are different "worlds" that coexist like parallel universes. 1. REAL world (this is Earth, where Aespa members live but the AE's are able to come here now) 2. FLAT (this is where AEs are actually from, its a digital world. This is where Naevis lives too so it acts like a base of operations). 3. KWANGYA - (this is a "wild" universe where theres alot of chaos and glitches, its like the big unkwnown but also where Black Mamba is hiding) 4. KOSMO (this one is shown later so dont worry about it for now)- This is like a universe with godlike beings in space, the beings here seem to oversee everything happening in other worlds and are like watchers of events.

Naevis isn't an alter ago of any human(she used to live in kosmo where the primordial gods of the universe/kosmozen live but naevis got punished by them for not destroying the seed of evil ( who was a baby at that time) and they erased her memories. She's the one who can open PORTAL TO REAL WORLD ( basically she's the link btw real world n flat). She's capable of much more but she doesn't know that cuz her memories are gone now

So excited to see you finally made it to checking out the BEST part of aespa's concept, their insane level production mini movies! What is cool is that so many of their mvs and song lyrics connect directly to the main story only seen in these eps, so if you understand what happens here and then rewatch / reread their mvs/song lyrics, you will understand so much of what is happening that you had no idea before. We just didn't have context but these eps wrap everything up. At least, until the death of black mamba in girls. Since Spicy, it's been a new series but we haven't had new eps for context yet.

alter egos are called ae. naevis (short hair) is the AI that guards and keeps balance between FLAT, KWANGYA and REAL WORLD. naevis’ origin is currently unclear. the only information from Ep2 is that she was cast out of her world for breaking a heavenly rule and branded as the great sinner. her punishment is to guard of the realms.

As far as I understand it: KWANGYA - is the AI program that helps them AE (AI) versions interact with their real life versions. Naevers is the ae-universe and is a place in the flat AI world where the crossover takes place. NingNing is a hacker who assists with the connection from the real world side. Black Mamba is an AI algorithm bent on devouring our world (that battle against Black Mamba is what the song and MV is about). I have been telling you to check out Aespa for at least a year. Do you not read comments or just ignore them on purpose? Aespa is amazing and NingNing is my girl.
