This chief guest De Silva is a war criminal. In 2009 the unit he commanded massacred 70,000 Tamils in Mullivaikal in Sri Lanka. LTTE carders who surrendered were gunned down. They raped thousands of girls. Even USA has a travel ban on him as a war criminal. Channel 4 in UK has shown videos of several war crimes. It is a shame that India had to choose a war criminal as the chief guest. On the otherhand The IPKF (Indian 'Peace Keeping' Force) that was sent to Tamil areas in Sri Lanka massa-cred 20,000 Tamils, raped thousands of Tamil girls. My own mother witnessed 145 civilians killed in a school. The hospital in which my sister in law was admitted was distroyed and my brother has seen several dead nurses killed by Indian soldiers. - It apperas that birds of the feather (war criminals) get together. While Sri Lanka provides harbour facilities for visiting Chinese spy ships, it is strange that India is licking the boots of Sri Lanka - how stupid.
