Hilarious! I really don't get why they say Britain is the most Russiaphobic country in the world; no one here cares about Russia! Until the Ukraine invasion, Russia was rarely discussed (if ever) by anyone. It is not a place of importance to us, and why would it be? The impression I get from these clips is of intense paranoia and a sense of inflated self importance. And to be honest if the UK was all of the things said; weak, scared etc why does it take up so much of their air time? I wonder if the audience are gullible enough to be taken in?

Britain joined the active struggle against Germany only after the victory of the USSR in Stalingrad. Before that, the British simply waited for who would win and with whom it would be necessary to negotiate. The goal was not to help the USSR at all. The Soviet Union could already then defeat Germany on its own. The British simply wanted to participate in a new division of the world. Even then they understood that Dresden would be a zone of influence of the USSR and carried out such terrible bombardments of this city, in which there were civilians, that the city became like a lunar landscape. Just look at when Britain began to liberate Greece, for example. It was actually 2 days before the USSR would have entered Greece, because the Red Army was already in Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. So no need for stories about help from Britain. Britain has never helped anyone in anything and never will. The British are not able to help, they always see only their own interests and nothing else

When Germany invaded Poland which had a Pact with Great Britain, Britain declared war on Germany. Russian already had a non aggression pact with Germany and invaded Poland from the opposite end of the Country. Britain stopped the German airforce from gaining air superiority meaning its Navy would annihilate any seaborne Invasion. Germany wanted to invade Russia but had been delayed trying to defeat Great Britain. Russia joined the war on the Allies side once they where invaded, US and UK supplied Russia through Ports of Murmansk and Archangel with Military equipment and supplies (I know as my Grandfather was on those convoys). Great Britain defeated the German and Italian forces in North Africa virtually on their own taking 280,000 prisoners, The US where involved at the last part of this battle. US supplied UK with a lots of goods up to this point with Lend Lease. Pearl Harbour brought them physically into the war. If Great Britain had folded or signed a non aggression pact. Hitler would have Invade Russian earlier with an intact army airforce and Navy, it was close run thing with Russia anyway. No supplies from the west no intelligence from the West a larger German army airforce and Navy all their submarines. Use your Brains and think. Now Russia is using the same pretexts as Hitler to Invade Ukraine, to free a Country of its Nazi Leaders what rubbish. Well the whole of Ukraine is now fighting this special limited operation(Special that it destroys towns and cities and limited in that it massacres civilians and kidnaps many who have been shipped into Russia). Initially I had some sympathy for Russian conscripts sent into war without any knowledge, but due to murder and destruction carried out in Putins name then the sooner they are defeated and sent home the better. Two missiles UK destroyed, remember at sea we have Subs that will level Russian Cities the same. Pushing the Red Button is MAD Mutually Assured Destruction. All these idiots with schoolyard rhetoric, I got pushed around at school by bullies I had been brought up to respect others turn the other cheek, then they started on my younger brother when he came to school. I smashed those bullies flat, I am not small and I had trained. Do not mistake calm quiet people for being weak.

My great uncle was also on the 'Murmansk Run'. He didn't talk about it much, such were the horrors he witnessed. Russia would never have withstood the Nazi onslaught if Hitler wasn't fighting a war on two fronts. And just recently some cretinous Russian official accused Poland of being ungrateful to Russia for its 'liberation'. How sick a joke is that? As for nuclear weapons, when Kruschev was in power the RAF had the ability to eradicate virtually every major city in Western Russia. Today the Royal Navy has the ability to eradicate every major city in the WHOLE of Russia. It's the Russian people that I (almost) feel sorry for, being subjected to this continuous onslaught of bullshit from Putin's media lackeys.

In August 1939 an SS commando dressed up in Polish military uniforms attacked German radio transmitter tower in Gleiwitz - close to the Polish border. The alleged victims were actually killed concentration camp prisoners dressed in German uniforms. This incident gave Hitler the reason for military invasion to Poland, claimed as a defence of Germany attacked by Poles. Thus Poland became alleged initiator of WWII. It is incredible that the Russian TV took this Hitler's famous deceptive lie for granted.

While saying that Poland was initiator of WWII is stupid and inaccurate, but its also true that Polands aggressive foreign policy under Pilsudski made it super isolated among its neighbors. No one, not even Lithuania with whom they had deep historical ties, liked them at the time. Its only allies were countries who were further away from its boarders like France or Britain and as events showed with the phony war in 1939 neither of them were truly interested in defending Poland.

Russia has a longstanding "chip on the shoulder" when it comes to the UK. No other country, given the relative size of the UK, seems to "rattle their cage" quite as much. Similarly other much larger nations with much larger populations do not seem to want to accept how and the reasons why Britain has shaped the modern world; how its culture is omnipresent around the globe; the fact that its empire spanned a quarter of the planet.This of course extends to "children of empire" like India. Russia is clearly a malevolent force in the world. State TV spouts propaganda and the state suppresses free speech. Russia has quite candidly entered other sovereign nations, including the UK, and assassinated Russian dissidents. The Salisbury poisoning and how careless and inept the operatives were had a touch of the Keystone Cops about it. The West fears Russia because of its instability and recklessness. Russia is the bully in the playground and would be able to pick off its weaker immediate neighbours. But its threatening words towards Britain are laughable. Britain is not an island, metaphorically speaking as opposed to geographically, and is a member of NATO. Any attack on Britain would be the equivalent to attack on the US West coast. Britain is also a nuclear power and I'm pretty sure Britain's nukes actually work whereas God only knows what condition Russia's are in once the superglue and gaffer tape is removed. Unless Putin does indeed "need a check up from the neck up" as many have suggested then Russia's threats are just bluster. Russia, a country spanning a continent with a huge population, has an economy smaller than that of Italy and would be completely out muscled by NATO in any conflict. Its military operations in Ukraine have proved disastrous. Russia's troops are poorly trained and motivated and their equipment is outdated and unreliable. Let's hope Putin will be toppled by Russia's military and some semblance of sanity can be restored.

As for the attack on Sir Winston Churchill, let us take history into account. The Soviet Union was happy with the Nazi-Soviet pact, and when the Germans were close to gaining Moscow, the Russians did not refuse the support of the Arctic Convoys. The NSDAP's regime did not even want war with Britain. Hitler was envious of the British Empire and wanted to emulate it by going east not west. And the field marshals and generals he had were far better than Stalin's generals, because the latter had his best generals executed or put into gulags. Hitler merely fired some of best.
@BladeRunner21577
@BladeRunner21577 2 жыл бұрын
No thats factually wrong. The pact was drawn up to create time for Russia to be able to mobilise its armed forces, which were depleted after the civil war. They never had any intention of keeping the pact with Germany. Just like Germany had no intention of keeping the pact with Russia. As to Churchill... I have read his book, its not a literary great... However I am British and will leave that there. As to all the other points if you are being honest about it you couldnt deny any of it.

@@BladeRunner21577 Oh come on. TODAY.....Russia says it's Friendship Pact with Germany was "meant to give Russia time to mobilize it's forces against Germany". But this is false. Russia never thought Germany was in a position to invade Russia for at least ten years after the signing of the 1939 pact. IF this wasn't true.....then WHY was Stalin SHOCKED that Germany was invading Russia in 1941??? The TRUTH IS.....Russia signed it's Friendship Pact with Nazi Germany to show LOVE and AFFECTION to Nazi Germany for giving Russia "permission" to SEIZE and STEAL half of Poland and the territories of other nations around Russia. Unfortunately for Russia, Germany got really jealous of all the land Russia was SEIZING and STEALING from other nations and decided to invade Russia in 1941

Do you deny that? Also there are pictures and videos of ruSSian troops meeting their friends....the Nazi German SS in the middle of Poland and CELEBRATING with each other their joint "accomplishment" in destroying Poland. 'The Baltic Sea fleet will sail to Britain...' except last time they did in 1905 they got into a firefight with a British fishing fleet (after panicking because they thought they thought they were Japanese warships, who they were at war with, attacking them!) and wound up crippling and almost sinking two of their own ships, killing two Russians in the process. They then fled the area and later fired on Swedish, German and French ships, believing all of them to be Japanese warships. Seriously, look up the Dogger Bank incident, it would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.
