I find it very fucked up that creator owned stories are a strange, revolutionary thing in comic books. If a novel publishing house tried to hijack a character or a story there'd be total outrage. Thank God for Image.

I love Brubaker's comment about the money going to the people that do the work! The freedom of the talented creative people really shines through. Through Film, TV, and Books, Image come out with the best original stories IMO. So refreshing in an age of remakes and re-hashes.

It's great to see the faces behind my favorite stories talking about full artistic control.

How is there no content for their channel? You have a lot of the best new comics coming out and you've been on such a role with hit after hit and this is all that is on the channel? I usually find out about the new series too late and miss out on buying the first issue (like I did with Wayward and Saga). Image has been so good the past few years that whenever I hear there is a new series, I pick it up without even looking at what it's about, and I've yet to be disappointed. The content on Marvel and DC's channels are lacking in excitement, and you should be taking advantage of this.

Image went the right path! I used to "meh" on Image's comics of the 90s, but the indies saved the whole thing. I just feel sad about Jim Lee selling out to DC, giving up his freedom.

I wish animators had the same options to own their creations when it comes to cartoons. I would love to start a show and do whatever I want with it and take it to whatever network I want to continue it if it were cancelled.

Does anyone know the name of a character from a comic book who wears blue tights (blue super hero like suit) with 2 vertical white lines that come to a circular design in the middle of his chest? I can't find the guy anywhere and I remember seeing him in a comic book I once had. The art in the comic book looked similar to something Todd Mcfarlane would do.

While I find Image's concept fascinating, you cannot deny that the polar opposite (Marvel and DC) is also necessary in this equation. There's room for both kinds of comics, which is something to be embraced.

I just do not get why Ethan van sciver did not jump on broad with you guys. It kind like indie publisher. Comic gate seem to done like good to no good for comic industry as whole. If comicgaters where true comic fans your sale would be way up. instead they fans of the characters so just stop buying comics when that character being what they want it to be.
