If the campaign kept the same tone as the first one it would be fine. Instead, we had unlimited parachute warzone maps and multiple missions of 1 vs 100. Even without soaps death they just made a bad game that could have been a mw2 update and that's not cool. @@Rau7__

and Benny Hill song starts playing and the gameplay gets faster😅 and then backwards just like the credits😂

The best part is that it wasn´t necessary. If it was really necessary to raid the hotel, armed forces could have surrounded it and demanded that they turn Makarov in or they´re going in, then they can raid it with enough time to spare by having air support on stand by (think of armed helicopters flying around) to make sure Makarov doesn´t just bail on them. I´m not saying it would be easy or that he would go down without a fight, but sending 2 men with some body armor is madness

@@Axl4325 All that communication and coordinating multiple agencies and teams together definitely would’ve tipped off Makarov, he had plenty of connections. It was better to handle it without assistance, otherwise Makarov would’ve been long gone.

I just finished it last month and it is amazing. Definitely one of the best campaigns

I finished the game one sitting on veteran- compared to the other modern warfares on vet this was the easiest one

I finished it in one play session when it was a new game, and just wow. Great way to cap off the series and just an overall great story

@@thetrashpope557 because its never implied if they get him, or if they even live. Leaving it up to interpretation and makes the viewer draw conclusions. It would be some different and unique for a cod ending

@@kingpinstewie4961 ambiguity only works for some stories on rare occasion and only works if it is consistent with the tone and direction of the games direction and or if it has leads that will lead up to peoples questioning, this on the other hand doesnt fit with what makes that moment special just feels like a 13 year old adding a cut to black/credit for the sake of "because it seems deep", although it would make the viewer question the outcome and it would be a different style of ending it wouldnt be a well executed one and noone would be happy about it especially for the last chapter in a trilogy that has been leading up to it. The movie The Road is a good example of that and if you havent read or watched the movie i highly suggest you to watch it so [spoilers] at the end of the movie the kid is left alone but is visited by other survivors cant remember exactly but he was either going to shoot himself or at the survivors but the survivors adopt him but we dont get a conclusion for what happens to him, all we know is that his dad died and the world is in a shit place with alot of shitty people that you cant trust so we have to guess what can happen to him after the story end, is the family cannibals, will he die we dont know all we know is that at the end of the story his dad dies due to his lack of trust and his son is now left alone with other survivors but we can still guest the worst or bad based off what we are given through that story

Just one example I remember from the top of my head: I remember, there's a "20 minutes earlier" cut after the mission starts where you get out of a fallen building. It literally adds nothing to the story or how the mission plays out. It's there for the sake of having it. Now imagine this same mission cuts from where Sandman is knocked back by an exploded breaching charge instead. You'd be questioning if Sandman dies the whole mission. I replayed all CoD campaigns, and God, I hate MW3's writing...
