I think that getting married with someone you don't completely love regardless of being straight or gay is one of the worst things. Ever since I remember I've always liked boys, and someday I dreamed of myself getting married with a woman and I was so scared, that's one of the things that made me realize I'm gay

I don’t think Rachel knew tho. I think she didn’t know she didn’t love him fully, and she probably just thought that that’s what love felt like, she probably only realized it after that conversation she had with Luce when they were describing love. And plus, with the family she has, it was just not possible to her even think of considering the possibilities of her being gay or liking women

To be fair even if you like Luce and Rachel together it’s hard not to feel sad for Heck. The director actually based this movie on his experiences with his first wife leaving him for a woman, and Heck was based on him. The woman he meets on the plane represents his second wife

I'm Bi and I live with a homophobic family and I saw a clip of this movie and wanted to see. I could only buy it so I did and now it is hidden in my room, deep down in my wardrobe. But! It was the best decision ever, that movie is completely a 11/10

I was raised the daughter of a fundamentalist minister living in super rural areas. I had no access to any gay films, books, people (that I knew of), TV - and yet, I found my way. You will, too. BTW, this is one of my favorite movies. That, and "Desert Hearts."

The movie actually helped me come out to my mom. I watched it past midnight in the livingroom 'cause everyone was in bed. Then she came down and watched to movie with me. The next day she told me: "You know, that movie we saw yesterday. It is okay to question your sexuality". I answered: "Yes i know that. I have done that myself. But now i know what my sexuality is." She asked me what it was, and i told her simply that i was a bisexual. She just turned to look at me and was a bit surpried but said: "Oh... Okay, great." She didnt really talk to me about it, which i am glad for, because, truthfully i dont want to talk deep into my sexuality really, sincw it is my life. But yeah.. I came out to her❤✌

Y que te crees que paso en la pelicula? Sufrimiento,aceptacion,pelea.....es una reflejo de lo que le pasan a muchas personas,asi que para nada esta peli se aleja de la realidad sino todo lo contrario.
