When she said she started modeling in the 70s I was surprised so I looked up her age as it didn't seem possible. She's the same age as my mother, 67. She looks about 40 years younger than my mom. I know it's melanin and makeup but wow. Incredibly beautiful. Trevor is very obviously in love with her. Haha, the way he held her hands and said it too. The look in his eyes! Wow. He looked like he was 12 years old, looking at a fashion magazine for the first time.

I remembered having 2 look back at media from the 80s, 90s + early y2k as a teen to find the black + brown models (Iman, Yasmeen, Naomi etc) bcuz just like Iman said in the 2010s they were barred out in the industry. They disappeared just like the black sitcoms/family shows. Only recently have things been a bit diff in this social media/influencer age w' the fashion industry.

It's because runway outfits are meant to be art. They're to showcase the talents of designers. Just think of it in the terms of a person walking around with a beautiful painting on their body.. A lot of that couture fashion is sculpture in fabric.

Iman was the right Black woman, in the right place, at the right time in history. Donyale Luna and Naomi Sims are the pioneer empresses of Black models in the 20th century, but they were too soon: the industry and the public were not quite ready for them in the 60's era of American civil rights unrest and protests. They were before their time, and never enjoyed the groundwork they laid for future generations in their own careers. By the time Beverly Johnson, Iman, Bethann Hardison, Billie Blair, Grace Jones and Pat Cleveland stepped onto the scene, the door had been widened (even just a few inches). So that by the time the 80's and 90's came, the next generation of Black models could not only run, but soar with the eagles.

As per a recent statistic, everyday close to 3 pakistan Hindu women are picked, married and forcibly converted. During the partition, the Hindu Demographics in pak was 15% and is now 2% and in bd it was 25% and now is 8%. Peoples houses are burned, they are looted and sometimes even worse they are killed if they deny conversion. Whatever is happening is beyond imagination and you will discover new things as you Dive Deep into this. As per my observations, this channel has been exposing truths multiple times so requesting you to make a video on this. Thanks 🙏!

I watched a video in which Iman gave a tour of the house she shared with Bowie in upstate New York. With sad wistfulness, she pointed out artwork and objects that Bowie had loved, often things that he had given her. She lingered fondly over a picture painted by their daughter after his death, remarking upon the "dark star" included to represent Bowie. Then, at the end of the interview, Iman did a pitch for her new (undoubtedly, very expensive) perfume. Bowie must have been rolling in his grave. I was shocked. Doesn't this woman already have enough money? It made me sad that Bowie had fallen for this greedy, empty, crass woman. (Definition of crass: Lacking in sensitivity, refinement, or intelligence.)
