Hi Imani. I have sisterlocs and they finish 12 months this december. I'm 12 years old and I hope by the time I reach your age they'll be just as long us yours. I installed last year December with a total of 508 locs.

Hi! Welcome to the sisterlocks family :) I hope you're enjoying your hair! I've cut my hair several times and am sure yours will be long within 2-3 years depending on how long your hair is now. From my experience, once your hair hits shoulder length it grows like weeds!

Hey i done these and im like probably 3-7 months in and when am i allowed to use normal shampoo?

Hi! I'm not a consultant so I'd say ask yours because they know your hair best. But to shampoo your locs when they are not yet mature/fully locked, be sure to use the banding technique (there are tons of videos on KZfaq) to avoid slippage!
