You cannot make me believe that is smart as LE is he saw the wire on there told his dad it was wire on the blades and he could not figure out to cut them off. It was just easier to have dad do it. He didn’t need to learn how to do it. He already knew what to do, he’s not stupid

Be a dad but have LE out there! that’s why my sons are great mechanics by watching their dad!, he passed k. Almost 6 yrs now, but all my boys have skills!

Can you get LE to help you with cutting that stuff off?? Could you show him how to maintain the mower and do those things himself. It's awesome that you help LE and Megan. I truly appreciate that because my dad's an --------. I had to get other people to teach me these things and had to just learn a lot on my own hun. Lester, I KNOW how you feel about your boys and I understand, I'm a Mom. I do have to share with you that my Tx Dad taught me How To, instead of doing for me. Because he took me out and had me learn to change a tire, change spark plugs, change the oil in a car, etc, I didnt grow up a helpless female. Theres lots more he taught me because he thought it his job because he didn't grow up with a father to teach him. ❤

Lester, you could take a page from Dan’s maintenance book….he uses his tractor forks to lift that mower up to a more comfortable level. This makes this type of work much easier 😂😂

I helped my adult children at times but they are right there learning what to do. You know, teaching them how to fish.

I would literally make my young son get down there and do that for me Lester! I could do it but it would be more comfortable for him. Actually I have two sons. One is 25 and the other is 27.

What have I done? I paid for his current car to start with. Watched all his 4 children for 0$$. Too many things to mention. BUT he has done so much for me❤

What you do surely does make a difference in people’s lives. I wish you could really know how many of us find such joy in watching your videos. We would all love to run into you one day while out and about. Never stop being you Lester.

Its easier to call dad when something doesn't work than attempt to figure it out yourself. Until dad physically cant help anymore. He might be able to offer advice over the phone. Then dad is gone and you really miss him for any advice he gave. Treasure them while you have them.

Happy Birthday Miss Gloria 🎈🎈 I raised all my children to be strong independent people with all the skills I could give them. I rarely have give them anymore and if they do get in a fix they know how to figure it out themselves. Of course in an emergency I would always be there. In this incident I would have told LE what was wrong and let him get under there and fix it himself . My hope was that someday they will be able to take care of me. They always tell me how shocked they are at how other “kids” are so spoiled and depend on their parents well into adulthood and how lazy they are. Work ethic has gone out the window in this day and age.

I’m 61 and my son is 40 and my daughter is 32 and if they ever need anything all they have to do is ask. I will do for them until the day I die and meet my Lord and Savior. The are both self sufficient, but if something comes up, I’ll have their backs.

What have i done for my children... Well I'm a full time caregiver for my grown son who has autism. He is very able but needs support dealing with people. He loves your channel, gave a whole explanation to the zookeepers here in Staten Island, NY about their ostriches and then showed off your Carl. (Sidenote - they already knew about Carl and follow your page, they said that you take amazing care of your big birds) Don't ever tell me you don't make a difference or an impact Lester.... We also fully support our daughter who is a Junior in college and will be going into marine biology. Supporting our children is important, they are our future. We brought them into this world, we need to assist where we can.

HAPPY 90TH BIRTHDAY MISS GLORIA!! I have a daughter who just turned 43 this past Tues & I still do lots of things for & with her. I take her to Doc's appts when her husband is at work, I get my granddaughter off the bus if my daughter won't be home in time from some appt or other, I bring her meds if she is out & too sick to get them herself. Mommy will always be here for her when she needs me for as long as I am able! You are a great dad, Lester. Not a father, because any guy can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad!

We used to use 4 tire jacks on the mower frame in order to get underneath the mower deck. I had to learn how to jack it up; remove and sharpen the blades and put them back on when I was around 10 yrs old. Always used wood and cinder blocks underneath as well, in case any of the jacks gave way.
