I listen to groups like imayra, manantial and other native bands who impart their culture with others through the beauty of music and show of their tribal outfits. my spirit has always been attached to the native culture and ive grieved for the injustice that has befallen my native brothers and sisters and pray some day they will openly be able to show pride honor and love for their cultures without fear of oppression, i love hearing the native languages and learning the old ways of the cultures.

Like the one 65 million of years ago. Not nice! Killed by pandemics? Killed by war? Not likely. We are quite good at survival. We might even survive the rock. But no breathable atmosphere? Todd Partain - the amount of people who believe this tosh amazes me. It was written and released in 1990 by Dougie MacLean. Dougie actually tells you that he wrote the song for the Loch Ness Monster Centre- it was a commission for them. The monster in the loch goes way back to ancient Scottish myths of seahorses (kelpies), and to write the tune, he imagined a Gaelic community on the banks of Loch Ness, believing in such myths, and thought about how real that would have been to them, sitting there waiting for the monster to appear. The producers of LOTM wanted a contemporary piece of Scottish music with atmosphere to suit the movie - and this fit the bill.

The music is called 'The Gael' and was written by Scotsman Dougie MacLean in 1990. It was written to represent the culture of the Highlanders that were forced off their lands in the Highland Clearances of the mid to late 18th Century, many thousands of whom fled from Scotland to the New World.

I am not native american but many nationalities. The pride I have for my family and all of yours include all peoples around the world who have been taken advantage of. This man may be the richest man or the poorest but as I watch and listen to the video that I have watches many, many times I look at the people filling their stomachs with food and then throw just coins into the baskets. I am ashamed of some peoples but live music by all methods is worth more than a dime to the people who enrich our souls. God Bless them and you.
