Hey Cade, Just wanted to let you know that you can get a new adaptation in the lower crust. If you find the sad looking urchin you can talk to him and repeatedly run into him, to attempt giving him a hug, after a while he'll give you a special move.

The among us shell is goated would highly recommend it lets you go invisible to enemies temporarily which makes exploration a lot easier, it also has a lot of HP and damage block. Def get it

A few neat mechanics of note since I picked this game up just two days ago. You can grapple shells to you with your hook. Sprinting, jumping, and holding block to immediately drop into a roll when you hit the ground is a great way to get a little extra speed on flat terrain, or make you almost immediately reach max speed down most slopes, even moderate ones. Parry frames last longer if you stay still while exiting your shell, probably something to do with canceling the animation. Grapple-hooking an enemy in solo combat can be a good panic button if you feel like you're in danger, or just want to cancel a nasty move. This trick is especially effective on larger enemies or bosses with anything you are unsure of how to deal with, or aren't expecting. The Intimidation crab actually helped me learn this, as he exposes his grapple point when turning his back to you. So far it cancels pretty much any bosses move, from anything that big purple crab does, to some of the scarier combos down the line from now. This game starts playing very, very dirty, very quickly. If I remember any others I can certainly tell you if you'd like. But for now I just hope this information helps, and that you're enjoying this little gem of a game as much as I have. It's more solid of a game than I thought it would be when I saw it on gamepass, and has repeatedly surprised me with the unique interactions you can have if you take certain paths, or fight certain bosses, which inadvertently "sequence breaks" the game.

@blockoboi5941 mhm. Theres a Gun shell that you get with assist mode that 1shots everything and has like 300 durability, and uses your Umami slot but no charges consumed. Hence why its in assist mode, and I assume its a reference since "Squirrel was here" is etched onto it

I beat this game When all the achievements were 0.01% players completed, it was actually really fun to play as a glass cannon with and a disabled block button!!! I enjoyed this souls like If anyone's willing to do what I did, make the game as hard as possible, and only upgrade damage
