He continued with his fast rapping story telling shit but you can tell certain songs he made, he wasnt passionate about. Listen to the project right before these songs and you'll see. Compared to somewhere in between. You can tell the most recent project was pandering to the mainstream. Then look at the songs he dropped after the recent project. The song Salt Shaker and the one with JID was him going back to his roots. I been listening to token since eraser shavings came out and it just feels like hes been trying to find a different sound since people have been calling him cringy. It also feels like recently, he went back to what makes him who he his. I dont like the song that was dontai listened to mainly because of the mixing but I enjoy the fact that token is being unapologetically himself. Thank you for asking rather than attacking. You're what we need in this world

I agree I hated his last album it was such let down because he was so damn good the sway freestyle over 50 beats was the best freestyle of 2019. I was so excited for the next album then I was so let down. But I feel like he's get himself back on track
