This is legit one of the golden eras of wrestling right now we're experiencing. WWE, AEW, NJPW, TNA, etc there's just so much good wrestling around that I really hope the general audience gets back into wrestling as a whole.

Vince was both the best and worst thing that has happened to wrestling. He made the industry as big as it is, but you see just how good the product is without him. Him finally being removed has allowed the WWE to flourish and actually work *with* other promotions and are not afraid to congratulate him. Having the TNA’s women’s champion appear in the Royale Rumble and openly congratulating Sting on-air never would’ve happen under Vince

As a longtime wrestling fan, part of me wants to gatekeep lmao but i’m honestly really glad wrestling as a whole is getting put in a much more respectable light despite many years of the product being terrible. I’ve always held the belief that when WWE is good, everyone benefits. Independent promotions, secondary promotions (TNA, ROH, AEW, etc.), and foreign promotions all benefit bc there’s a new set of fans that are created and maybe want to check out more outside of WWE. WWE’s “renaissance” rn and AEW being on fire from 2021-2022 really did more for wrestling than any other era since the late 90s/early 2000s. Seeing people like dontai react to anything wrestling related just shows that it’s gaining a lot more popularity and i’m so glad that we’re out of that dark period in the 2010s

It's truly crazy seeing the WWE back in shape again. And while some novelties from the Attitude Era are irreparably lost in the fire, the Renaissance Era has so many nice modern, quality of life changes that it balances things out. People are talking about wrestling again in a way that really hasn't been a thing SINCE the height of the Attitude Era.
