Better question would be why are the Heat making dumb fouls so often. You didn't hear Gundy or the announcers talking about bad calls, you heard them talking about sloppy play because Miami committed soooooo many dumb fouls. Assume Boston didn't get those free throws and Miami didn't commit a ton of dumb fouls, would that have helped them buy a bucket? Likely not.
